We went around 11pm and was able to get a spot quickly in the open lot, we walked in and was able to get seated quickly. The place is beautiful! Very IG picture worthy. They also played a great variety of music. We got two mock tails and a hookah. Overall the place is pretty chill and we'll definitely be back in the future. I like going here. The music is just loud enough. The hookah is good and the tea is FANTASTIC! The parking is okay depending on what night you go. They don't serve food or alcohol but that never bothers me. Sometimes I just go for the hookah & lounge vibe and it helps me get work done. They also have good milkshakes. They do not serve alcohol here so we ordered smoothies. Definitely a vibe killer for us. We had an issue with the hookah and one of the guys came over and fixed it for us. I will never go here again. The security guard outside was literally so rude to us when we walked up it was just instant attitude. He told my fiancé he had to leave his hat in the car and my fiancé then made a joke and said but you have a hat on bro( literally we were laughing) and the security guard just got nasty and was like "am I a customer? Am I going inside? No, so take your shit to the car or don't come in at all." As my fiancé was already walking to the car to put the hat away. So my guy friend was like all that over a hat bro and chuckled and the security guard got more mad and told us again we didn't have to come here. So he proceeded to check all of our ids just to give them back and we can't come in. Smh we then asked for the manager and he told us we didn't need to speak to the manager because he "ran shit here" at this point we were just going to leave but he kept going antagonizing my friend and was bout to be a whole fight outside. Then the manager came outside and the security guard wanted to switch up and act like he wasn't the problem. The manager was also no help and took the security guards side and then tried to say we couldn't come in tonight but next time ask for him at the door and we could be let in. I dislike this place and the service here... a group of four girls had dinner and dessert and were looking for a place to chill so we found Maya.. at first the bouncer kept us waiting outside in the cold as if he is looking for room inside (mind you we called on our way to see if there is room and they said there is a lot of room and they said there is no minimum charge).. we enter the place and it had plenty of empty tables! anyway when we sat down the waiter was very pushy trying to make us order their "glass hookah" which is one of the very expensive items on their menu ($40 and up) then when we finally convinced him we don't want it he started pushing us to order their next less expensive hookah (20$ and up) fine we went with it (although we originally said we just want our regular flavor orange mint but he totally ignored it and kept pushing for the exotic flavors with fruit head for additional charge) ... then we got that exotic flavor hookah which supposed to be some mix of mango and vanilla. It didn't taste anything like mango or vanilla, it was pure paan flavor (which we also said we don't like the paan flavor in hookah) ... so we asked to change is for the regular flavors we know and are used to, the waiter said no I can't change it, the most he could is only change the head, we had to get management involved for us to be able to switch. We got our regular orange mint flavor, it was ok but not clean taste to it... We then were asked for the drinks, i asked for a few minutes to think but the waiter wasn't patient he thought I would leave without ordering a drink so he brought a bottled water because everyone has to order something to drink.
