They gave us a hard time with getting hookah. It's an ok place. Seat were a lil torn. Variety of flavors on the menu. But service could be better. They are racist against blacks and Hispanic. Went here on Sunday 6/8/25 w 2 of my friends (mind you they been there 2days ago) we walk in was greeted sat down preceded to eat are pizza and drinks. I have come here a few times a year with my friends. Tonight a few of us came. Their menu states $10 minimum per person (weekdays) and $15 (weekends). They kept trying to force us to order hookah but we got $4 tea and $6 lemonade. We decided to leave to get food. Nonetheless it was $10 each plus their fee of around $2. My friend friend paid his bill and it was $12. I go to pay for my other friend and I and I get charged $37. I leave s $7 tip too not thinking about it. I walk out realizing I just got ripped off. My bill should have been $24. I came back to talk to the owner and he pulled some shady response telling me that because of the $10 charge per person he only charged it once instead of three times. Clean and decent chill crowd that's about it. Wouldn't come here again. They charge even if you do not smoke. Apparently it is $10/person... so that's essentially 5 water bottles for someone who just wants to hang with their other friends or an extra hookah that won't be smoked. As a loyal customer who goes there every day and I am talking 20 days x $30 on average, I was very taken back when I went recently. They required a minimum of $10 per person and I was with my wife on a Sunday night. Typically a hookah is $22 to begin with and in addition we each got water. We only intended to stay 45 mins because she doesn't smoke. My advice is take care of your usual customers, we pay a large portion of your bills. If they come with their wife once in a year, give them a pass. If the hookah is bad for some reason, replace the head. Its the little things that will keep them coming. The renovations they did are nice though and the hookah is good, which is why I am still giving them an okay rating. read more

I'm giving this one star because the customer service was very poor and the "house rules" that the waiter tried to impose on us were unfair and made no sense at all. PROBLEM #1: the waiter was not hospitable or helpful when he served us. The three of of us who ordered hookah had to set us out hookah on our own by attaching the pipes which was confusing at first. The waiter dropped the hookah down snd dropped my pipe on the floor by accident, but then just walked away with no explanation. Also I and a friend ordered hot tea and he brought it about 25 minutes late and laid the tray on the opposite side of the table from us. I had to ask him twice if he could push it so it was right in front of us which is unacceptable. We had to repeatedly asked to accommodate us in the most basic ways and we shouldn't have had to. PROBLEM #2: As soon as we sat down at our booth we were told that each person had to spend a minimum $20 to be there whether that was spent on hookah or "drinks". That's not a rule that's posted on their website or their Yelp page so people coming have no warning at all that that's management's expectation. Those two friends ended up leaving early and while the rest of us were paying our tab I was told we'd have to pay for the two friends that sat and didn't buy anything. I politely told the waiter that that didn't make any sense at all especially since 1. That $20-to-sit rule isn't published anywhere on their official website, 2. those two didn't actually consume anything while they were there, 3. They ended up leaving early anyways and 4. The place wasn't busy so they were in no way blocking any additional customers from sitting and smoking hookah. We went back and forth for a few minutes with the waiter until he eventually ended up just letting us go without paying extra. The whole experience was disappointing and made us feel really uncomfortable and unwelcome. The hookah was good so its a shame I have to write this review. You can get quality hookah from a place with way better service and management. Save your $20. read more

Visited this place with a couple of friends from the area. The place looks very old, not so clean with old dysfunctional furniture and very poor ventilation. There is too much smoke in the room especially during the winter because everything is closed. The hookah flavours were decent and not anything special and the prices were reasonable. The service was great and they changed the coal whenever requested. Btw you can bring your own food as they don't serve any. You can get food delivered to the place. It might be worth trying in the summer but the management needs to update the furniture and improve the ambience. read more

This is by far the worst hookah spot ever. I recently went and ordered a pineapple hookah head to go. They clearly don't know how to prepare the pineapple head. They didn't not remove any of the actual pineapple and barely put any tobacco in the head. They then charged me $30 including a service fee of 8%. Remember I got the pineapple head to go. All in all I spent almost $40. I would not recommend anyone to go there. I would recommend Cloud 9 by Pasha over this place any day. read more

Outstanding hookahs and customer service! I got Kesar Pan and my husband got pan Vanilla Mint suggested by the staff and they both taste AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend this place. The bathroom was spotless and the ambiance was beautiful! Very relaxing spot. I recommend the Fresh Lemon Mint drink, it was sooooooo good! This place could be a five star hookah lounge without that rude server. I have been to king tut multiple times and every single time this guy was so rude and annoying while the other server( who is an absolute gentleman) tried to make up for his attitude and poor work. Last time, for example, this guy forgot about our hookah and the other guy helped us after waiting for 30+ mins. Hookahs of any type are good here. The place itself is very mediocre and not that clean, but hookahs are of such a high quality which make us go back. There are nice outside seats- great to smoke outside, and everything is priced very reasonably. read more

Hookah is good but be careful of the workers. Shady stuff going on. I was there yesterday and the guy charged me $66 dollars for two hookahs and two teas. He also didn't give me the receipt to sign, second time he did that week, and was reluctant to. When I asked About the charges he seemed nervous. After pressing him, he said each hookah was 19 and each tea was 4 dollars for Lipton tea in a cup! Not only that but he charged me 4 dollars for the milk that I put in the tea. Still even with the 18% service charge that still didn't add up 66 dollars. When I pressed him further and asked to speak to someone else he got nervous and gave me back 6 dollars cash and brought over two more teas . He also mentioned a 30% charge that he couldn't answer for. I was about to loose it but my brother told me to relax and to just never go there again. Which I won't. BE CAREFUL and ask for a receipt and make sure you sign it, I think he maybe adding extra tips, I'll be checking my credit card! I have been to this place yesterday. Hookah is amazing but the place is not cosy. It is for people who like more light and no music. We are the quite opposite, so we did not like the ambience much. The Hookah is quite reasonable and is great too. No food. A must go to place if you like playing indoor games with Fren's. Would have been great if there is at a least some music. We used to be regular King Tut customers Pre-Covid. I went there with my friend today and ordered one $22 hookah and two green teas. The guy who works there initially says we can't share a hookah and clarifies this policy has nothing to do with COVID. We didn't want to order two hookahs so he says there will be a $10 surcharge for my friend. The total bill was $47.36! You read that right - ONE hookah and TWO drinks: $47.36!!! Shouldn't at least one of the drinks count towards the $10??? He wouldn't budge on the price... this pricing is plain ridiculous. Won't go back!! read more

Tried this hookah lounge today after reading many reviews on yelp! The hookah was good, and price point was even better! It's a small place with a friendly homey ambience. It's actually a little house that's turned into a hookah lounge. I do not know how their ventilation works cause it was super Smokey in there and no alarms were going off! The best part about the place is the huge parking lot. I didn't have to look for a street parking. Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is cause of the waitress. If you're just looking to enjoy a good hookah then this spot is sufficient. Yes it is on the corner of a block in a residential area but its a cool set up. Nothing fancy, no music, more of like lounge vibe. You can play a board game, watch tv, or just listen to your headphones. That's the vibe here. Anything more then this isn't for you. read more

It's a nice place, I was really pleased when I walked in, one of the nicer hookah places I've been to.... basically all was pretty good except one the most important parts.. customer service. The workers and "coal change" guy were extremely neglectful. No exaggeration they did not ONCE check on how I was or offer to change the coals. Spent 100% of their time on their phone and smoking their own hookah. I eventually went and ask if they worked there and if I could get more coals. The guy then brings the coals and sets them on the ash catcher and not even the on the shisha.. I ended up putting them on myself. Can't say I would ever go back. There are a few other hookah lounges that I will try and give my money to. It's a shame bc it looks really nice but they really really need new employees to take it to the next level. read more

Soooo I've probably gone to every hookah lounge in Jersey by now, and although this is the quiet, reserved type of spot... it definitely has the best hookah and lasts the longest. Service is fabulous. They check on you all the time and always have coal ready. The best part is you can bring your own alcohol and food... and you already know: alcohol + hookah = heaven. read more

The hookahs have very good prices ($11-$16). However, the facility is extremely dirty, the bathroom is atrocious (no soap, cob webs, dust, toilet paper is sitting on a dirty cabinet). Everything seems to be covered with dirt or dust. Really, I only gave them one star for the prices. But overall I am not certain that this facility can be trusted with cleaning their hookahs if they can't manage to clean literally anything else. read more

King tut has been my favorite spot for about half a year now since I moved to north brunswick this past summer. This place is practically perfect. I can count on my hand the times I wasn't pleased. Hookah 8/10: excellent flavor, sometimes burns a little but only when a bunch of us are pulling dragon hits - it's to be expected. But it's great. Service 7/10: pretty damn good service. You'll need to raise your hand and maybe yell but they are quick and nice people. Atmosphere: all day, all night, no loud music ever. I've only been there once when the music was loud and it was due to a birthday party and it was a weekend. Climate 7/10: they hear the place pretty well. I know it's weird to have that be a criteria, but you'd be surprised how many hookah bars don't goddamn heat or cool their places haha. Overall: great place, fantastic prices: $8 for a bowl. $2 for a drink and this place will be your new spot! read more

I moved to NJ couple of months back and being in the New Brunswick area, I was searching for a hookah lounge that would let me relax and chill, not get drunk and wasted and party. My first hookah lounge in NJ was Fire n Ice and the place was just a big club with zero service and extremely bad furniture. Despite King Tut having very few reviews on Yelp, I gave them a shot. That was 2 months back and I have gone there every day since then. The place is simple yet functional. The prices are good and the service is even better. It is an Egyptian place and it is frequented by a lot of Middle Easterners so I would say that this is as authentic as it gets. They have a good collection of AF, SB and Nakhla flavors and the servers will give you good suggestions. Hookah is very smooth and lasts about 45 minutes on the original coals. Their WiFi is super fast, they have a small menu of drinks but their black tea with mint is very good. I usually go there with my laptop and watch a few shows without having to worry about loud music or loud people. The people that come there do so to have a relaxed time and King Tut does a fantastic job of taking care of its guests. Great place if you want to sit back and relax. read more
