After collecting 4 quotes to put in some recessed lighting in our living room and basement (with brand new switches) we decided to go with Maxxtech Electrical Services. Man, am I glad we did. Not only was Zach responsive, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable; he made some great recommendations and we ended up going with some smart LEDs. We went back and forth on how many we needed, and I am ultimately glad we settled on what we did at the advice of Zach. As for the actual lights. They are AWESOME! The two rooms we got them in were totally transformed. We didn't realize just how poorly lit our basement was until we flipped our new switch for the first time. Incredible! He also removed our outdated, dingy track lighting while he was here. Maxxtech did quick work at a fair price and we honestly could not be happier. I used Zack and MaxxTech for a bunch of projects when I first bought my home. I thought I was getting a "master electrician" and professional company when Zack came out to give me the original quote on doing a bunch of projects. I should have known from the first project when I had almost 70 electrical outlets. Pigtailed, Zack sent in a bunch of his trainee employees to my house. They left it in an absolute mess, wires cords, cables, garbage, everywhere. It was only a few months after the fact that I found out that all of these employees did the pig tailing wrong, Zack was adamant that he takes no shortcuts and screws in every pigtail, when I found out half of my outlets were failing because of either neglect or Max tech just doesn't know what they are doing. The final straw for me was Zach told me that my dishwasher already had the aluminum wiring running to it, so there was no need to pigtail it as those appliances are made to run aluminum, well, nine months later my dishwasher almost burned my house to the ground. So either Zach has no idea what he's talking about, or he is completely negligent, either way, max tech is responsible and liable for any issues I have with The poor job they did moving forward. I'm so glad I found a real professional company that has already gone through and fixed most of the problems that they have been able to identify, but I am disgusted that I spent almost $10,000 with Max tech for nothing, I will be reaching out to the attorney general read more

I used this company a few years ago and they did an amazing job. On time, courteous and did a great job but very expensive. I usually don't mind paying a little extra if all the box's are checked. However, I reached out to Maxtech recently several times and never heard back from them. After receiving a "Voicemail Full" message after 2 voicemails and a text, I decided to find a new electrician to work with on Yelp. I spent a few days calling several of them, but my small job (install two outdoor outlets) just wasn't enough for most to even bother returning my call. Zach, the President, was super knowledgeable and very nice when he came to our home to give me a quote for lighting replacements, etc. This morning he returned with Sean and Caleb and they took down our old lights, put up the new ones, replaced smoke detectors and light switches. The guys were very professional, informative and answered all our questions while doing the job. They protected surfaces with plastic sheeting and cleaned up after themselves, which I appreciated. We had some hot tub work done in 2022. They were great, the price was reasonable based on the other quotes we got, they helped with the inspector and the work looked great since they had to run the line along the base of our patio deck and over to the hot tub since it was on the opposite side of the yard from the panel. They made sure everything was up to code and were so helpful in a pinch when another electrician backed out of the job. My GFI had tripped and thought I had replaced the outlet appropriately, but the outlet still did not work. I thought the main breaker was going to need to be replaced, but when Zach came and evaluated everything, it turns out the outlet was just wired incorrectly. I am gathering quotes for four electrical projects. I received quotes from Maxxtech and was going to select them, but decided against it. The good: Zach was friendly and personable. He explained things well and offered multiple options for each project. The quotes are excellent. Materials cost is fair and accurate, considerably less than the competition. The bad: Zach arrived an hour late to give the estimate, providing notice 10 minutes after the appointment was set to begin. I don't mind flexibility around time, but it is a yellow flag for professionalism. Maxxtech was founded in March of 2021, and has very few reviews available online. I asked Zach for a professional reference. He refused to provide a reference and canceled my quotes. read more

We were in need of electrician quickly because of a serious problem with our main electric panel in our home. We used Next Door, Yelp and Google to find recommendations. I tried to reach out to several. Several never returned calls, one said they couldn't come to evaluate until August. I did get a couple of electricians to come and give me an estimate. One said the panel needs to replaced ASAP, and gave me an estimate, but couldn't commit to a date until I contracted. Then I connected with MaxxTech. They quickly returned my call and said they could come out Tuesday. I indicated the urgency and the nice lady said she would see what she could do. She quickly called me back and said Zach will come the next day. Thank you. Zach showed up on time, was very pleasant and very informative. He did say the repair was urgent as the panel could flash at any time. After giving Me an estimate, He told me he would send a firm quote that evening. He also said he would adjust his schedule and start the next morning. I said If your quote is reasonable, I'm good to go with MaxxTech. When I got the quote it was detailed and over $1000 less than the other quotes. Zach showed up early the next day to start the work. He also said because of supply chain issues he couldn't find a panel box in the state except one that was priced $400 more than normal. He tried to do some temporary fix to make sure we were out of danger. However when he disconnected power etc the main power cable was beyond safe use. He also successfully got Xcel out quickly to turn off main power. He then took it upon himself to get the more expensive panel box and ate the difference himself. After working all day, we had power back at the end of the day. He came back early the next day to finish the final details. His work was superb, and we feel much safer now. We had no idea how much we were tempting fate and a fire. I cannot recommend Zach and MaxxTech Electrical Services enough. I will never call anyone else for any electrical needs. read more

Zach was pleasant to talk with, told me my job shouldn't take more than an hour, and was able to schedule me within a couple of days. The technician showed up, asked me to explain the problem, went over the hourly rate pricing, and got right to work. The technician was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Within 30 minutes, the problem was fixed. Maxxtech could have wasted time, worked slowly, or tried to find other issues to get more money out of me, but they didn't.
