They scheduled me over a month ago which is understandable considering it's Spring and everyone wants their blades sharpened. So I took my equipment apart as they instructed and had it ready for my appointment as scheduled. Of course they were a no show. I questioned why and I was answered with a text that he was working on something else and I would have to be rescheduled, I was a bit upset but asked when they would honor the appointment. That text was met with a call from some hillbilly saying he heard my "little attitude" and at that point I hung up on the phone as I realized there was no intelligent conversation to be had with them. Run, don't walk away from this group, they will waste your time. No stars if I could.

I was told that it would take about 2-3 weeks to get my lawnmower looked at for a quote. I was fine with this because I understand that this is peak season, so I waited patiently. I was explained the fees and such and expected around $300-400 for everything. Anyway, I waited the almost three weeks and called back to see the status on my quote. Hunter did not give me a definite answer immediately and said he would call me back. I waited three days with no response. (apparently someone typed the wrong phone number.) Somehow the repairs/service then went up to about $760 dollars for new blades, a spring service and a belt replacement. I respectively declined after speaking to a few people about my quote. My lawnmower brand new is around $1700. After declining, Hunter said he would call me back with another quote for the pick up fee and the diagnostic; which I am not sure why they need to call back for that. The diagnostic fee and the pick up for the lawnmower ended up being over 100 dollars, which I find ridiculous. (My father in law is picking up the lawnmower at the shop now, so they never had to even bring my mower back to me.) I doubt the diagnosis took the techs very long and this fee was never explained at the beginning. I asked Hunter if that fee was added after I decided not to do business with them and that is when Hunter began passive aggressively arguing with me. I tried cutting him off saying I was just voicing that I feel like their services are way too expensive and Hunter continued to argue with me. At one point, I had to tell Hunter that I found him very unprofessional that he was still arguing with me after I began giving him my credit card information. His response was "I would expect a comment like that from you". That is not how you treat customers period, even if the customer decided that they were too expensive. Most of my life I worked customer service and was a manager in the optical field for five years. When customers complained that my products were too expensive I just listened apologized and kept it moving; never would I of argued with them! That is a lesson Hunter needs to learn. I hope anyone who reads this finds a better lawnmower repair shop with better customer service, a faster turn around time for quotes, and one that has fairer repair/service rates!

I told them what was wrong with it and they said fine. They tested the other pulleys and the spindles that the blesses are mounted on and said all should be replaced. I authorized the repairs and didn't hear back from them. 5 weeks later I called and they said they hadn't received the parts. I went onto Amazon and got the parts in less than 3 days delivered to my home at A cost of $175. They were going to charge me -almost 300 for the parts and another 400 plus to do the rebuild for a total of almost $800. So I called and said I'd be picking up the mower deck. I found it out back with a bunch of other parts. I rebuilt the mower deck in a little over an hour. Literally fewer than a dozen bolts. Then I receive a bill for $104 from them for their diagnosis- you know the one that I gave them in the first place. This place is terrible. Their customer service is poor. They are disorganized and can't keep track of anything. It's amazing they are in business at all. I will NEVER go there again. never.

During the first few months I would call for a status update where each employee I spoke with would continue to tell me lies that it would be be done this week, or they are waiting on a part, or a special tool, etc. All I needed was my seat replaced under warranty (which they tried charging me for at first), new blades, oil change, and a tire. Here we are 6 MONTHS LATER, I was charged $750 for seat install, blades, oil change, and then a fuel filter and spark plug, neither of which oil requested. My tractor still is not finished and the mechanic now has more excuses and lies. Again, this is 6 months later and I am still being lied to. They also change the date on the ticket of when I dropped it off for service so beware. I will never use this business again and it is sad to see from a fellow business owner and native of Winchester. I recommend staying far away from this business.

Like they are doing you a favor to even talk to you. I called them last August, they didn't have what I needed and they gave me Woodstock Equipment's number. I thought they were affiliated. THEY ARE NOT. Eric answered the phone. He is one the most knowledgeable and friendly people I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. I had some issue with a Kubota mower. He is the only one that could tell me what he thought the problem was. He was right both times. They had the parts I needed in stock. Eric shipped my order out the same day, for a reasonable price both times. I am now a Woodstock Equipment customer thanks to Eric.
