If you are looking at the one star reviews, believe me, they are accurate. Kevin Maxwell is friendly, seems like a great guy, but clearly doesn't know what he is doing or doesn't care about anything but taking your money. Less than a week after moving in, I've had an hvac leak that damaged my ceiling- the issues were obvious standing at the attic hatch, where there was even a wet dry vac attachment left by the seller. A $4k repair because not only was the hvac installed incorrectly but the furnace is also too high efficiency for the attic and will freeze this winter. And the wet dry vac attachment left by the seller? Right next to a mouse trap with a petrified dead mouse in it. Which went along nicely with all the mice traps tucked away in the house. This homeowner also hid holes in floors with ceramic tiles strategically placed, which we found upon moving in. And also less than a week in, the one year old oven started on fire and the refrigerator needs to be replaced. My hvac guy was surprised the issue wasn't caught during my home inspection Even colleagues in the business who know Kevin are appalled that the issues weren't caught. Everyone asks me, your home inspector didn't notice this?! I reached out to Kevin to at least ask for a refund on the inspection fee I paid. Plausible deniability claimed by Kevin. If you need a quick turnaround time with your inspection and a friendly inspector, Kevin's your man. If you want someone who will be thorough, with attention to detail as if they care and are looking at the property for one of their own family members, I strongly suggest you consider an alternative home inspector read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could put zero stars I would. I had them inspect a single story home in Albany Summer 2023 and a few months after I bought it I figured out that the WHOLE concrete FOUNDATION was water damaged to the point of dissolving like sand when you put your finger through it - and it required an emergency shoring up. Their inspector told me I needed parging (a thin layer of new concrete on the outside). Turns out I need min. $40K to patch this, $150K to fix the problem correctly. I would never have bought this house if the inspection was done properly. BEWARE 2 years after his home inspection we have to replace all the floor joists, because they are all rotted out and have been for years. This entails tearing up all the existing flooring, replacing all the joist & then new sub floor and flooring. This so called inspection was complete negligence on his part, you pay a home inspector to look for defects in a home before you buy it, not have to pay thousands of dollars to fix an existing problem that was there at the time of inspection. Worst Customer Service!!!!!!!!Ashley blocked our numbers from there business phone. Stole my 499.99 for spetic inspection. Went out 2 x to dig and fing the spetic. Once located called off because of rain. I called Ashley and she was so rude and disrespectful. She mentioned that because I wasn't satisfied I can go somewhere else. She didn't care about an upset customer because this project shouldn't of took 3 weeks. Very unbelievable that I get hung up on. I filed a report with the BBB to get at least a refund for the spetic part. I spent 1500 with them. They take money and run. I have voice recordings ŵith our rude she was. !! You go downstairs to the basement and you can't push the paper that they had covers ??? You couldn't even remove that !! It's way too much mold !!
