The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get, and the entire place was clean and well-maintained. A special shoutout to Alex for providing excellent customer service. On multiple Sunday evenings, I've arrived more than 30 minutes before the posted closing time, only to find the doors locked and be turned away. If this happened once, I could understand. But it's become a pattern. What makes this especially frustrating is that the restaurant's posted hours are displayed right next to the front door. If the business is going to close early, the posted hours should reflect that. Customers shouldn't drive over expecting the restaurant to be open during its advertised hours only to find it's already closed. I don't know whether this is a management issue or if it's specific to the Sunday evening staff trying to leave early, but either way, it's not acceptable. Consistently closing well before your advertised hours is unfair to customers and makes the business seem unreliable. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I also don't know that I can continue supporting a business that doesn't honor its own posted hours. I hope management addresses this, because I'd much rather update this review after seeing consistent improvement.

Happened across this odd rogue taco bus today in between hikes. We turned around to go back and give it a try; we are always on a quest for the next great cart, wagon, truck, and now bus! As most mention, Max was very friendly with a warm smile and greeting. We ordered the carnitas, asada, and pastor tacos. Single tortilla is usually worrisome, but these worked and held up fine. The carne asada and carnitas were both lean, nicely seasoned, NOT greasy, or fatty, no gristle; I liked the salsa verde, good heat, he was out of little cups so made up a little foil holder to fill up with the salsa rojo! And the side of beans were quite tasty too. I suppose the addition of the lime wedges, radish, would be a nice final touch; I look forward to going back. read more

I saw the Taco Bus and decided to give it a try since I've had great food from other bus kitchens. I ordered a pork burrito and waited for it to be made. While waiting I made an effort to look at the cleanliness of the cooking area and from what I saw it looked pretty dirty. I took my food home ... and began eating 5 minutes after Buying it. The rice and beans that were in the burrito would probably have been okay by themselves, but the pork was inedible, as if left out in the sun for hours. Very tough. My wife had a chicken taco and her chicken was also tough. I'll never go back. I'm glad I didn't get sick from the few bites I took before trashing the grub. read more
