Looked sketchy but that's never stopped me before. We were travelling through with two nine year olds. We needed lunch and a shady spot (Fir Grove Park). Friendly guy wrapped us up 4 carnitas burritos in a jiffy. Add salsa and some napkins and we were soon enjoying wonderful, crunchy pork carnitas. Perfecto! Back on the road!! read more

[I use tacos as a base line for comparison when visiting taco trucks] Max's has the usual Mexican food items on their menue. I ordered 1 chicken and 1 carnitas taco. Well the first thing I noticed was they only use 1 tortilla, which makes the taco a bit flimsy, so it falls apart easily. Both the chicken and carnitas were under seasoned and bland. Also there were no diced tomatoes as seen in their picture. I was offered a red and green salsa. The red was thick and hot but not much flavor. The green was terrible and tasted like it was fermented and I couldn't/wouldn't use it. Normally most taco places serve pickled vegetables on the side and lime wedges, but not here. These underwhelming tacos came with a $2.50ea. price tag, way too expensive for what you get. I was disappointed and can not recommend this business. read more

We Spent the weekend in roseburg From Eugene it was the first hot day off summer We spent 20 minutes waiting on our order When we arrived to our hotel room to eat dinner we noticed the nachos had so much salt they wearnt even edible My husband's burrito was equally as salty but with the toppings and hot sauce my husband ate about half before saying he couldn't do it needless to say we ate dinner that night from our hotel vending machine The next morning my Husband became violently I'll will food poisoning Causing us to have to stay one extra day With a full day of being stuck in our hotel room violently I'll maybe we went out a bad day but I dont think we will be returning read more

Max's truck/bus is awesome! A school bus with indoor seating, heat, and lots of windows to look out of. He's right there behind the saloon doors in case you need anything. Friendly, hospitable, caring, and genuine, Max is ready to make your day! Simple Mexican dishes, perfect for your lunch break, on your way up or down the I-5, or just a nice stroll from downtown Roseburg. He used to serve locally elsewhere and I'd say he was one of the only reasons we went in to eat there. And now we can come see him at his own place! read more

Solid taco truck! Ordered chicken tacos and a chiliverde burrito. Kids and wife loved the tacos, rice and beans. Burrito was very tasty with quite a bit of heat. Need another tortilla for each taco and the pork in the burrito was on the dry side - remedy those issues and get 5 stars. Will be back again read more

Oh. My. Goodness! We saw the Taco Bus parked in an empty lot at the corner of Harvard and Haggerty in Roseburg. We are so glad we stopped. The food is delicious, and authentically prepared. The Chile verde is to die for. Succulent chunks of pork in a roasted tomatillo-jalapeno sauce with little tortillas. So delicious! There is seating inside the bus and they had a couple of tables outside as well. We highly recommend Max's Taco Bus! Find them wherever they're parked and stop by.
