I would give this place zero stars if I could. Worst beach experience I've ever had. Rules are over…read morethe top for a beach. The $15 entry fee is completely ridiculous and on top of that it's cash only and there's no mention of this on their website. When I went to use the ATM they charge a $5 fee which is outrageous. All the employees were rude and and top of everyone about their ridiculous rules. Our bags/cooler was inspected more closely than TSA agents inspect bags at the airport. If you have three children you can't take them here by yourself because they only allow two children per one adult, most ridiculous rule I've ever heard especially for a place that employs lifguards and the swimming area is condensed and roped off. They also have an obnoxious DJ that thinks he's DJing spring break somewhere in Florida.... completely unnecessary Going to the beach should be a stress free relaxing fairly inexpensive experience but at this beach it's expensive and stressful because of the ridiculous over the top rules and rude staff DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY

Excessive rules and waaaaay to pricey. 15$ for entry is too high. I live literally right next door…read moreand I wish it was cheaper cause I would go everyday. Can't even hang out at the bar with out having to pay the entry fee even if you don't want to swim. I really wish it was different.. Even for getting a season pass you think you would get a really good deal but it's not.. literally save like a dollar per entry. So 14$. Whooopty doooo

I ordered a burger and the menu said I had a choice of chips & dips, fries or pasta salad that were supposed to come with it. So I ordered fries and asked for a side cup of cheese. My husband ordered a burger and his was supposed to be the same side with just a cup of cheese however you charged us $7 per cheese fry as if we were ordering it as a separate side. I didn't get additional orders of cheese fries. so I was just curious why we were charged so much on our bill? I ordered a slice of pie. He ordered a rice crispy treat which were $7 each and because she overcharged us for the french fries our bill jumped up to $$57.27 plus she added a $3 tip. I told her I thought she needed to redo her menu and make it very clear to people because it really was not fair to us when her menu says it comes with fries and then she was turning around and charging $7 each because we asked for a cup of cheese! A Cheese cup is not worth $7 each it wasn't that good of a cheese cup to justify that price. We did not get any extra french fries or even a basket of fries to justify the additional $14 charge for 2 meals. Had I known she was gonna charge us an additional $7 on top of a $16.95 burger that says it's supposed to come with french fries, I would not have ordered the french fries. What's really Sad is I sent her a message on Facebook messenger which she did not reply until I called her out on it on her Facebook page. Only then did she reply to me telling me her father was in the hospital and she would get back to me. She then proceeded to block me on Facebook so now I can't send her any more messages or even see her Facebook page. This is not a good way to run a business. She literally just had to apologize and admit, she overcharged me and maybe offer a free piece of pie. Good grief, now I will make sure to tell everybody how awful her customer service skills are and that she rips people off intentionally since this is how she decided to handle the situation.

Came to this pub in Roscoe and had a pretty uneven experience. It looks pretty cool inside, with a…read moreton of TVs, and it's got plenty of room. Louie's Tap House is one of the few good hangouts in town. Has tons of local beers. The food menu has burgers and stuff at pretty good prices. A lot of people really come here just to get drunk. It's no wonder because there's a massive beer list. This is shown on a TV and goes through a few screens. A lot of local beers. It's about $8 for some of these. Among these is the Generations Pretzel City. There's tons of food though. It's $12 for the Louie Burger. Make it with a Beyond Burger patty for a couple bucks more. The food isn't really as bad as some people say. One thing sucks to be honest. The service. It was slow getting a small order of a Beyond Burger. This isn't even like it's a real one that gets cooked much. After that it was slow to get the check. The waiting was too long so we left money, though we didn't have enough for a tip. Good food, but it can take a long time, so keep it basic. It has tons of beers, which go great with burgers, or something. There's even burger options for vegans and vegetarians.

We called ahead to let them know that 5 adults and two children were coming in for a birthday. We asked to be placed in the back room. They said they didn't take reservations, but the bar tender would be told we were coming and they could accommodate us. We arrived at 11:30 and were told we could seat ourselves in the back room and from that point on we were basically on our own. The bar tender appeared to be the only wait staff. So we went to the bar to order our drinks and then we went back to the bar with our food order. I am in no way blaming the bartender. She was on her own. There were people at the bar that she needed to take care of. However, we ended up getting our own silverware, straws...etc. once the food showed up. But a short time later people started coming into the back room and setting up for a party. And shortly after that we were asked to leave the back area. Our 8 year old birthday boy had not opened his gifts so we hauled the gifts to the bar area where he opened them. This "event" which we'd hoped to make special, was a bit of a disaster. Had I been the person writing our bill I would have deducted 25% and apologized. That did not occur. Full bill. No apology. We won't be returning.
