One of the more reliable things in life is the taste of Max's chicken. They always serve it with the skin the perfect golden brown and super crispy (yet is nowhere close to burnt). The meat itself has that super savory umami taste that I just couldn't get enough of. It really is insanely good it would be difficult not to eat it to the very last bite.
This is one of the few local chain restaurants that have stood the test of time and has survived a franchising frenzy because of consistency. No matter what branch you eat in, you can expect the same high level of food quality.
Other notable things to try include their fresh lumpia, the tofu sisig, tinapa rice and pansit canton. If you're eating solo, just get one of their plate sets that already has their best sellers. Of course, for dessert you need to get their caramel bar.
For this Greenbelt branch though, it is usually full during lunch time on weekdays so best to get there before the lunch crowd overtakes the entire place. This is also a great place for lunch with big teams for Christmas celebrations or other occasions. read more
