Pelvic fracture and shoulder pain. i am able to return to work, with PT continuing. From the girls you see at the front desk to all therapists they were always a pleasure to see. To name a few, Kelly, Cindy, Dana, Anthony, They were the ones I personally had. My grandson had Chris for a torn ACL. (12 yrs old). He was excellent. (I'm sorry if I omitted anyone). He can jog a little his handwriting has come back. He can feed himself. He listens to music. He does everything himself now before it was like a progressed overnight. He was in the hospital and inpatient rehab. It was terrible. It just progressed in two months and then now I have my husband back. Parkinson's is evil. We're gonna have good days and bad days but with the help of Kessler's, it's more good days.

Unfortunately, my experience with the front office today was completely different. I received a phone call from a staff member named Avalon at the Toms River (Hooper Avenue) location, and the conversation was extremely upsetting. From the beginning of the call, she was rude, disrespectful, and spoke to me in a condescending manner. Instead of focusing on my appointment, she asked questions about my personal life and current situation that had nothing to do with my physical therapy. I felt as though I was being judged and made to justify why I needed treatment, even though my physician prescribed physical therapy for legitimate medical reasons. No patient should be made to feel belittled, judged, or spoken to disrespectfully while seeking medical care. This interaction left me feeling embarrassed and upset. I still have confidence in the therapists because my past treatment at Twin Boro was excellent. However, I sincerely hope management addresses how patients are treated over the phone. Professionalism, respect, and compassion should extend beyond the treatment room to every interaction a patient has with the practice.

Kaitlin M was my therapist and she is all around everything you want in a physical therapist. She really worked hard with me to try and reach my goals. Some PTs spend very little time with their patients, give you the same exercises every time you go and you get bored really quickly. That doesn't happen here. I highly recommend SportsCare.

I chose this place for convenience of location. I was going here for about a month without issue…read moreexcept for maybe not getting the full hour of therapy. I've gone to several physical therapy centers over the years for various conditions which never needed extended care even though they try to get you to treat forever. As one of my doctors once told me "go for a week, get your exercises printed out and then do them at home" No need to pay 3 co-pays a week for months. Anyway, I was currently treating for a hip replacement, so I did need extended care. On my last visit here, (and I made it my last visit), I got my appointment time mixed up by a half hour, realized it while coming in the building and they called before going up, telling me my appointment was canceled. I went up anyway fully expecting to receive my remaining 35 minutes of therapy. The irritated receptionist claimed she had to check with the therapist as I waited . She came back to the desk and in a real nasty tone and told me he couldn't see me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I WAS IN THE BUILDING! My therapist wasn't treating someone else as they don't take walk ins for my time slot. Yes, my first time being late for my one hour time slot was my fault. And I was fully willing to pay my co-pay(still am) but this isn't a medical office where a late arrival screws everything up. So a relative recommended Advantage Physical Therapy Center in Brick and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Dawkins Is Great. The results were immediate and I already recommended him to my primary doctor and orthopedist. It's a little further away but worth it to be treated with understanding and kindness.
