Terribly ran company. Paid my monthly payments always ahead of time and still was required to pay the rest of the interest for that month. Then the payoff part is such a joke. They will never tell you over the phone how much the payoff will be, you have to be sent an email and fill out a stupid survey. Then someone calls you a week later. It's almost as if they don't want you to pay it off and all they do is play games. Their website and payoff email survey asks if you want to receive title same day or have it mailed, I selected same day pick up come to find out that the website is posted wrong and they don't do same day release. What a joke right, supposedly it was MY mistake to have "misread" it. Clearly the website says "as soon as the same day". Don't waste your time. Find another place. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had in my existence! We fell on hard times and took out a loan. Paid each month and when we were ready had the funds to pay this off. Getting a payoff was a nightmare. None of the girls working there could provide me a payoff, advised I call the department and leave a voicemail and within 2 hours should have a payoff, we've been fighting to get the payoff for almost a month, when we addressed the issue, we were left with empty promises that our calls would be returned or someone would reach out to us, We've wasted more money and time waiting for someone to call us back, we made every effort to comply and do what we needed to to get this payoff per their instructions but in the end everyone went blank on what our payoff was. I wish we never dealt with this shady company. I'd rather go somewhere else that's less sketchy. You would think they would be happy you want a payoff, but no they will drag it out until there's fees over fees Please avoid this place at all cost, there are other places! Ps. If I could offer negative stars for this business, I certainly would. It is astonishing to me with the poor customer service practiced by this business and lack of understanding that it is their customers who keeps them around. It appears this behavior stems from their ownership, who have no issues with belittling and cursing at their clients throughout the loan process, including when it comes time to pay their loans in a timely fashion. By Timely, I mean you will pay on your due date or you will be threatened and ridiculed by the management and staff to the extent that they will pursue your collateral immediately eg, doesn't matter if you are on your deathbed or you just found out 6-old son has cancer and is on his deathbed - real customer examples!). I can certainly understand the need for a business to be profitable, however it is clear this business preys upon those in difficult times and has zero sympathy for difficult situations and virtually refuses to work with you to reconcile your debt. They want their money NOW. Add to that their shady business practices and strong-arm practices they use againt their clients, such as interest-only contracts. This means you can pay on a loan for a year, but all that you are paying against is the interest of the loan. Read your contract carefully. Unless you want to succumb to modern-day loan shark tactics, I highly recommend stay away from Maximum Title Loans and ignore they're friendly, thin, welcoming advertising veneer. They clearly are no friend to anyone, only concerned with extracting money from others. Also, be careful what you share with their staff, as confidentiality is something regularly not practiced here! Went to Maximum and met with Christine, she was wonderful, friendly and professional.

I chose to go here based on the great reviews, went there this morning to get a loan and was there for almost an hour with my 2 year old grand daughter and after all that time they couldn't do my loan because they couldn't verify my employer(which I told them when I first arrive that if they needed to contact my employer that it is closed for a week due to holiday break) so after I signed every document they had for me to sign is when they told me they couldn't do the loan. It was a complete waste of time. They should have said something when I told them my work is closed for a week, the girl should've know. Right then that they weren't gonna be able to do the loan instead of making me wait almost an hour and signed all papers. I'll keep my business at title max which would've given me $3000 instead of $700 read more

The worst experience ever. There's absolutely no customer service here whatsoever! From the very beginning, I was prompt with getting all the docs they required, insurance update etc and they still lagged on their part. The owner, Christine is nothing but a rude dingbat! She treats people as if they're nothing and I actually had an argument with her inside their Mesa office lobby. I did everything they asked for in a timely manner, they assured me everything was good to go and that I could swing by to grab the check. I called and informed them that I'm on my lunch break and that I can't be long. I get there and they had me start the insurance process all over again AFTER I sent them proof several days before. I was beyond irritated, running behind schedule and the owner had the audacity to tell me to be patient and argued with me while another customer waited. It wasn't until I finally said to her that she should apologize instead of arguing with her customers that she finally did. Classless lady! I can't wait to pay these jerks and never do business here again. They're not the friendliest, I've called numerous times to check up on my account, after being told that they'll reach out to me by phone or email. I even had to call them to send me a copy of the contract LOL. All they want is your $, they don't care about how they treat their customers, how their business is functioning and so on.
