    I scheduled a new air conditioning coil installation around June 24th. At the same time, they…read morerecommended a new hot water heater since the water heater needed to be moved to install the coil. 1. Hot water heater - Working perfectly; great job to the young plumber. 2. On October 30th, we turned on the air conditioner and blew air, but it was not cold. 3. After the installation, they forgot to connect the drain hose from the condenser to the drain. My hallway floor flooded, and my laminate floor now has enormous gaps between the planks. When the repairman returned a few days later to connect the drain hose, I pointed out the floor and asked a supervisor to call me back, but they never did. I also had them tape up the outside installation that goes over my copper pipe, which they took apart and never taped up the installation correctly. They fixed the two items that they never should have forgotten for free, but never addressed my flooring. 4. On October 28th, I turned the heat on because it was very cold, and the heat would not work. I checked the gas value, and it was in the off position. No problem. The Meyers Tech must have turned it off to change the coil, as my furnace and condenser are all housed in a small closet in the hallway. I went to turn on the gas valve that feeds my furnace; I could not move it. I used a pair of vice grips to open the valve, and the furnace is now working. Why didn't Meyers Tech, who turned the value off while making repairs, turn it back on? I called Meyers and asked them to have a supervisor call me about my floor, the valve, and the installation they didn't tape back up, no one has called me back. I have made two payments to this company, one on July 24th, 25, for 840.32 and the other on June 24th, 25, for 3,469.32. I would like to have the air conditioner that I just had fixed around three months ago blow cold air again and my floor fixed because of their incompetence in not reconnecting the drain hose they disconnected to make repairs. This is Meyers' company in Griffith, Indiana. Do not use them for HVAC! I just called Meyers at 0830 on Oct 31st, 25, and customer service just sent me to an owner's voicemail. I will update this review when something happens. Update - 31-OCT-24 A supervisor just called and said they would send someone out for free to look at what is going on with my air conditioner. I'm hoping for the best. The tech came out and saw a new issue: a leak in the condensing coil. They said it needs to be replaced and will get me a quote. At least this service was free of charge. The supervisor said he was sorry that my gas valve was not turned back on and the hose was not connected. He stated he was never told of my complaint. I am changing this from 1 star to 2.

    I had a furnace replaced. I could not find where the filter was located found it was placed at the…read moreair intake vent. The filter placed there during installation was cut to fit the vent. I have not been able to find a filter that fits. I called and told them about this issue and if the filter could be relocated so I could use a standard size. I never heard back from them. I will never call them to do any more work.
