Some of the damage was probably caused by inadequate packaging, however, some of the issues were from poor manufacturing. I immediately sent photos of the damage to the business, but instead of taking responsibility Steve told me it was my responsibility to file a claim with UPS and that I should find a local woodworker to fix his mistakes. He refused to remake the shutters and also refused to refund me so I had to file a claim with PayPal who ultimately refunded me after reviewing the case. Despite getting my money back the process took over 4 weeks and in the end I had to find alternative window treatments. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating from start to finish -- I would strongly recommend avoiding this business.

About 6 months ago, one of the blinds stopped working so we asked them to come fix or replace it. Ryan (who is a very nice person) came out and said the blind couldn't be fixed, but since it was under warranty, he would take the broken blind and work with the manufacturer to replace it. Unfortunately, I never heard back from Drapery Crafters despite me leaving at least a dozen voicemails and messages on their website. While we really like them in the past, they aren't going to succeed in business if they don't follow-up on calls and go radio silent. Not sure what happened to this company.

Carl came to the house right when he said he would. He was pleasant to deal with, told me the options and was patient with me. I placed the order and it came in 7 weeks, just like he said it would. His 2 sons arrived and proceeded to work. Efficient, clean, polite, great humor and they took the old blinds from downstairs and installed them upstairs.
