The best thing about this place is they have ice pipes for their shisha's, this really enhances the flavor of the tobacco. I am not sure but I think this used to be a Southeast Asian fusion restaurant. Anyway, now it's a Lebanese restaurant and I really wanted it to be good to (a) make up for me being terrible and (b) prove to my New Yorker boyfriend that not all English restaurants absolutely suck. Thankfully it succeeded on both counts. We started with stuffed vine leaves and baba ghanoush. The vine leaves were wonderful - fresh, soft, tangy - the best I have had in a long while (I really need to stop buying them from supermarkets). The baba ghanoush also tasted great - it seemed much more related to aubergine than other versions I have had! Afterwards I ordered soujok and my boyfriend got a lamb shawarma sandwich. The soujok came with cooked tomatoes and was solid and tasty. The lamb shwarma was also flavourful, especially with a bit of lemon squeezed over it. It's worth pointing out that these two dishes were £4 and £3.50 respectively, which I thought was great value (proper main dishes are about £9). Dessert was, naturally, a bounty milkshake. I am SO happy there is somewhere doing milkshakes near Norbiton Station, I need to try all the flavours IMMEDIATELY. I can see this becoming a serious and great problem for me in the months ahead! Overall, delighted to try somewhere new and find it so enjoyable. This shisha cafe part also looks nice and of course smells great.

It was really windy and cold outside but there is a heater over every seat, blankets and the owner lowered cloth panels that shielded the wind. We stayed for almost 4 hours and started off with a tropical fruit bowl (pineapple) with guava Shisha. It was our first time with a fruit bowl and it was really good! We took a short break to run across the street to get food to bring back and moved to a watermelon bowl. All in all the experience cost £40 which is such a great price for a great establishment!

At 420pm a man named Ramsey came in and looked surprised we were not seated so before even getting settled himself he seated us and gave us menus. Aside from that everything else was great. We ordered the Paneer Dry and the Lamb Chops with Garlic Naan. Food was delicious. For drinks we started with a couple beers and then went for a Long Island Ice Tea and Mojito. These were amazing drinks. One man came up to us and explained the LIT would be a bit longer because the person who makes bar drinks was still coming in and he wanted to make sure I got a good drink rather then just making it himself so that was nice of him. The hookah was real good too. We got two heads one was something Ramsey recommended with Skittles and the second was a Mango/Orange head. Both great. For the service, I can say this is one of the best places. From walking in to walking out Ramsey was a great server/host. He asked multiple times if we were okay and always came by to fix the hookah. He always had a smile on his face which made the vibe even better. Also played great music for us. We stayed for almost 3 hours.
