Sound was gone for a little time and then it was awful a few weeks later, same side. I brought it back, Abu was like "I changed the right control arm." when I said that the issue was on the left which HE DIAGNOSED, he refused to fix it and now tells me it's so bad and axel is broken, causing more damage. When I went to pick up my car it started to vote anti-freeze and then they tell me that they don't know what other people had done to the car when they themselves were the ones who rebuilt the engine and after I spent $11,000 dollars. try to avoid this shop there are many better shops and they charge much less

I won't go through the long saga of my 2011 Subaru Legacy, but will just say that I put my faith…read moreand trust in Ralph and his team at Farrows, and they delivered. The car needed a complete assessment of the engine cylinder heads and a question of whether the challenges, length of time, repairs needed and expense would be worth the money. In the end, I decided it was all worth it, largely because I trusted Ralph and his team. I found Farrow's to be thorough, knowledgeable, honest, and communicative. Not so from a local dealer's Subaru service department which may have actually contributed to the problems with the engine (but I'll never know that for sure). My car was with Ralph and team for almost two months. Ralph never sugar coated anything -- was forthcoming about the time it would take for parts, repairs, etc, and the costs. They were diligent in working to diagnose the root cause, not just symptoms, to get it right. I picked up my car yesterday and needless to say: it's running great -- like having a completely new car (at 120k miles in). I would highly recommend Farrow's to anyone and will continue to bring my car there. A huge thank you to Ralph and master technician Bernie; can't say enough good things about them. Here's to the next 100k miles!

Gentleman I spoke to was polite and clear about the best time to bring the car in. Discovered some adjacent issues which they clearly highlighted in their inspection report (including pics) which I may fix another time, but otherwise mostly stuck to why I brought the car in. There was no problem or huffing and puffing around this, unlike other places I've been to in the past. Pricing was reasonable and they were honest about what everything should cost. Got everything done quicker than normal too. Definitely will use them again once my bucket of bolts gets screwed up again, as they were a pleasure to work with.
