The building that has all the information on is really nice and the people working here are very helpful and provide lots of information. There is an educational Center and a place to watch videos and they even have a board of what types of birds have been spotted on The Refuge in the morning. There is a little gift shops to buy overpriced items if you want. My daughter found an owl pellet on the ground outside the building and asked if she could keep it they were nice and allowed her to take it home so now we get a dissected and see if we can find a rodent. They also have information about all the activities they have throughout the year and how they celebrate different types of birds. This place is right off the freeway and it's definitely worth a 5 minute drive to this place. Also another nice thing is it is all free.

Most people come here to visit the farm and walk around the large property, admiring the buildings and pretty landscape. There are animals to gawk at and there are treats to enjoy in the gift shop. April 11 2026 during baby animal days, a storm with marble sized hail started beating the hiccups out of us , now me being from SWLouisiana don't get to see much action, I was fascinated at first but quickly had the danger sting the fire out my back end. I grabbed my grandson close and we ran with my sweater over him like a mother hen. When out of an old West movie, a cowboy on his electric pony pull up to us, yelled at my grandson, GET IN. (You know that boy listen...wow). I turned to help my daughter and 2 other babies in a stroller. Once they babies were safe, this cowboy asked gentlemen like, for me to get in. I did. In the mass confusion and shelter seeking, he did not loose his composure. Calmly stopping to look at my daughter for her safety. Checking capacity of the tiny village homes along the way. He drove us to the SUV in the field, relying on a 6 year old boy for directions...this child has not moved. He was standing against this stranger, not out of fear but total trust ., He asked if we would be ok, I said Yes, while explaining to grandson that this nice man needed to save more ladies and kids, like he did for us . Once we were clear, and could see my daughter and the babies coming through the grass lot of cars, the cowboy was gone. We would like to say a great big THANK YOU first to this man's mom, you taught him well. To his father for giving him the protective nature and control for any situation. To you sir, no matter your choice in ponies ...RIDE ON. Hopefully my grandson will be so kind. Thank you all again for a wonderful day . The food was just ok and their hours were hit and miss. I guess Iam spoiled . Belong to a course in California ( Bear Valley CC a private course) in great shape and is playable all year with membership less expensive. When we move up full time I will give it a 2ed try. It spans four days but we only went on the Saturday - there were TONS of carnival rides, market stalls, an awesome motorcycle show, a concert from an ABBA cover band, and so so many food vendors selling every kind of peach concoction you can think of (along with everything else lol) - even peach funnel cake! It blew my mind how huge the crowds were for little ol' Brigham City Utah - these are crowd sizes I'd expect to see at home in LA! But everything was so organized and the food lines moved so fast - they really handle this event so well. It's impressive. They have an annual car and motorcycle show that's the largest in the state and well worth seeing. This festival is a huge local hit and has been going strong for over a century!! I had no idea Utah was known for its peaches but apparently they grow readily and abundant here in Brigham City and they're delicious! It's free to enter and the festival spans several city blocks with stages, one main huge food court area, several market areas, and a whole long street of rides for the families and even more food vendors. It's free to enter and the shows and concerts are all free. All the food and market vendors we visited took credit cards and cash. The carnival rides are by tickets as is typical for these types of events - so you have to purchase a package of tickets first and that's where the lines get crazy and move super slow. Prices for everything seemed quite reasonable given that it's a huge festival. The lines for the rides were pretty huge too - we were there around sunset on a Saturday so I wasn't surprised. But everyone was polite and friendly and seemed to be having a grand time! The city offers free shuttles on certain days to and from some of the surrounding parking lots (see photos). All the parking is free as well and we had no issues finding a spot but we did a ton of walking so wear comfy shoes. The Box Elder Chamber of Commerce seems to be the organizer and their website was very clear and informative about the event ahead of time with detailed schedules of events and parking instructions etc. They really do a great job. Highly recommend Peach Days!! It was such a wholesome, family friendly festival packed full of fabulous eats and interesting sights to see! The peach cobbler I tried was the best I ever had and I hope to make it back again someday to see more of the shows.

That's very much the vibe that you get at Jump the Moon-a creative space where anyone can hop in and make something amazing. The thing that impressed me the most was the accessibility of it all. I was given a tour of the facility and noticed multiple stations and tools that were put into place for people with varying degrees of mobility. If you're an artist that uses a wheelchair or an artist that uses a communication device, you can easily immerse yourself in art with the amazing tools that they have. There was some great work on display made from some of these tools. Stop by during free range studio time or sign up for a workshop or a class. This is for all ages, all abilities. For real.

COVID cases are on the rise, and visiting this place was a vivid example as to why. We did not see the lack of precautions until after we bought our tickets, and there are no refunds, so we ended up upgrading to the "fast past," which lets you "skip the line", just to allow us some sense of security, and avoid the high risk situation. How did it take so long to have come up with the Utah Cheese Awards?!?!…read more In its second year, it's still a bit of a work-in-progess, with this year's festivities tucked away in the industrial part of South Salt Lake at Shades of Pale Brewery. Once into the tap room, it was a boisterous mix of craft beer lovers, cheese vendors, and award-winners. By the end, they awarded 34 medals in 13 cheese plate food categories, as well as a Best of Show. A lot of fun! I got my VIP tickets via Yelp, but I would've paid the $16 for it. The VIP ticket came with a Cheese Plate including: Beehive Cheese Seahive Cheddar, Butcher's Bunches jams, Bread Riot Bakehouse Sesame Semolina Bread, Creminelli Casalingo Salami, Chocolate Conspiracy's Blackberry Ginger Chocolates, Crown Chocolate Truffles, Gossner Baby Swiss Cheese, Heber Valley Fuego Rojo Cheese, Hollow Farms' Hickory Garlic Curd, Julie Ann Caramels' Caramel Sauce, Payson Fruit Growers' Dried Cherries, and Zollinger McIntonish Apple Slices. I hope they get more vendors (they had three) and make entry and cheese plate acquisition (tucked in the back) less mysterious, but the end result was worth it. And, in what will come as no surprise, the cheese was AMAZING!
