I'm actually a huge fan of this theater. I have a thing for movies, and the fact that it is cheap makes it all the better. People always call it the dollar theater; however, you must take note of the CineFOUR poking you right in the eye. It is a four DOLLAR theater, so don't get upset if you only brought four QUARTERS. I warned ya. The concessions are reasonably priced, they have many movies to choose from and they're not (too) outdated, and the bathrooms always seem to be spic and span. However, bring a jacket! Ugh, it is always, ALWAYS freezing in there. And since they play older movies, not many people go; thus, body heat is never an option. TIPS & TRICKS: * Again, bring cash. There is a fee associated with paying by card. * The best parking is on the east side of the building--not many people seem to park there and it's great for a quick get away. read more

I am a huge fan of dollar theaters. I don't care the movies are old, or if the theater isn't first rate. I love a good deal! That said, Cinefour is NOT a dollar theater. It is a THREE dollar theater. And the facilities are pretty sad. In Salt Lake City, dollar theaters are actually a dollar. Well, a dollar fifty. This seems like a much fairer price for movies that are already available at Redbox. The least expensive place to watch a movie in Cache Valley. I don't ever expect the cheap theaters to be awesome, I'm just glad I don't have to pay full price to go to the movies. CASH ONLY, and they have a military discount. read more

This place is awful. I can't believe they are even profitable. Their popcorn is always stale, their building is cold during the winter. They had the heater go out for a few days, but did not shut down operations. People were literally going to their cars and getting sleeping bags they happened to have, to continue watching the movie. They do not do refunds for any reason, even when they fail to tell you about the foresaid heat issue in the winter. You can always find a free seat, but the movies they get are second hand theater, and even so, only the ones other second hand theaters didn't buy first. If you forgot to bring cash, no problem. They'll ask you to use the ATM, and pay $3 fee for a $3 ticket. 50% increase So bring cash, pay twice, or go home. :-) read more

Price keeps jumping, was $3, now up to $4 (compared to $2.25 in Salt Lake) for old movies I can already stream at home for free. Seating isn't stadium-style and is cramped and less comfortable, floors are dirty, theaters are empty, concessions are only slightly cheaper than the first run theaters. Screen and sound are inferior, movies glitch out and even stop altogether at this theater. And as mentioned already, it's cold inside during winter. I'm not a fan. I only make it here from time to time anymore. Probably because even my theater at home is better. read more

We went to see a movie and there was this OLD couple in front of us on a date. They brought food-what looked like their dinner- because again they're OLD! This worker comes into the theater and takes their food! Are you kidding me?!! He took all the food and drinks and then they had a small donut in their hand and he said I need the donut too I am NEVER GOING BACK! That was TRULY the worst display I have ever seen. I could not believe it. BEYOND rude! I couldn't believe it. I can see a brand new movie for $1 more at a regular theater that's CLEAN and doesn't stink on Tuesday. Great theater if you're looking for a cheap movie. You definitely pay for what you get. Material on the walls was torn and falling down, the seats were stained and falling apart and the arm rests were all sticky. However if you're not wanting to pay a lot for a movie and don't want to make reservations then it works fine, just remember to bring some hand sanitizer for after. read more

It's an affordable option to see fairly new movies uninterrupted on the big screen. It's never very busy so you have plenty of seating options. read more

With the price hikes at the newly owned megaplex theaters, it's nice to be able to spend only 3$ to watch a movie (that was released at the bigger theaters a month or so prior). They also sell movie posters for a dollar, which is pretty cool. The video also isn't as clear as the megaplex theaters, but you get what you pay for. read more

This theater is the "budget" option in Cache Valley. The ticket prices are way cheaper, and the concessions are slightly cheaper. This can be a welcome option when we're taking kids out to the the movies. They don't show new releases. The films are usually out of most other theaters by the time they make it to this one. We go to this theater much less often than we go to the more expensive theaters in town because this one has some issues. The seating is cramped, and uncomfortable. No legroom or headrests, and usually a bit dirty. The theater room floors are't built with a tier for each row like the other theaters in town, but the floor is sloped slightly toward the screen. Finally, the popcorn is lousy. The one thing every movie theater should easily be able to provide. The popcorn seems low quality, or poorly prepared. I don't really know whats wrong with it accept that it seems stale even when I see it popped right behind the counter. Maybe it's the butter topping, but the popcorn at this place is consistently barely edible. read more

This is a great place to go if you aren't concerned about seeing a film the second it is released. The theater is a little old and dingy and sometimes things like heaters and projectors have glitches, but for $3? I'll take it. Bonus, the people are friendly and, these days at least, I'm pretty sure they do accept credit cards. read more

I love Cinefour and hope they stay in business forever! With the newly installed Digital Projectors that the new movies require, it is a wonder they were able to stay in business and only have to increase the ticket price to $4 compare to the $9 other places charge. I'm grateful they did! I hate paying through the nose to go to the theater but love going. Cinefour definitely makes it an affordable outing. read more
