The weather was not much of a deterrent for the local crowds and the parking lot was packed. The parking was gravel with mud mixed in due to the rain. The parking was paint marked, but attendees seemed to take those lines as a suggestion and park where ever they wanted. We were lucky and found a painted spot near the entrance. Avoiding the puddles, we made our way across the busy paved street to the entrance. It was free to enter and walk around to see everything. The food, activities, and souvenirs had extra costs, but we did not partake of any of those. We walked through the food area first to see the options, then checked out the games and rides area. It was not busy on the games and rides yet so nothing was really happening over there. We walked through the goats/sheep barn, the cattle barn, and then the chicken/bunny barn. There were lots of animals in motion with shows going on and an auction too. It was fun to see everything, and we were glad we had the chance to attend.

Here's how it went down: my son nailed the Bonus Drop X-Treme game, dropped the ball directly into the bonus hole. Three adults watched it. Zero points showed up. Simple fix, right? Tell an employee, they make it right. Wrong! First up: Philip (employee) asks Cash (manager #1). Cash says the points will "take time to add." Spoiler: they didn't. Philip assures us if they still don't show up, he'll add them manually. Fair enough. We return later. Points still missing. Philip checks with Brooke (manager #2). Brooke shuts it down instantly. She flat out calls us liars because she didn't personally witness it. Then she gaslights me with the laughable claim that their games can't malfunction which is rich, since another game had literally just malfunctioned and needed a restart. Brooke, we're talking about 472 points. That's what: three tootsie rolls and a bouncy ball? Is that really worth accusing paying customers of dishonesty? The kicker? My son, being awesome, plays again. Nails the bonus again. This time the game coughs up the points. He even filmed it. Imagine being proven wrong by a kid with an iPhone. We've spent more time and money here than any other entertainment venue in the valley. But after being told our word means nothing and treated like scammers over pocket change level prizes, this is our last visit. The Fun Park might have games, but the real show is management's ability to turn loyal customers into ex-customers.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the joy and satisfaction we received from Four Seasons Theatre Company's recent production of Disney's The Little Mermaid. Emma Duffin (Ariel) and Dakota Moses (Prince Eric) were a dynamic duo with voices to match any Broadway performer -- stellar!! And Kyle Pyfer stole the show as Sebastian, infusing a life into the production that couldn't be denied (applause and whistles after his rendition of Under the Sea lasted nearly 3 solid minutes) -- simply awesome!! While visiting Golden Spike saw a sign for rocket display by the Northrop Grumman offices and had…read moreto check it out. All outside and primarily older rocket designs, but many still in use today as well. Plenty of parking to include handicap right beside the display. Able to wheel through or slowing walk through paved walkway between the displays if limited in mobility. There is a nice pamphlet available at the guest book signing in the middle by the stair access if desired. Probably a little geeked out with my rating here as I work with some of these rockets and enjoyed walking through to read about the others. If in the area worth the stop, wouldn't make it a sole purpose trip unless you are really into rockets!
