Pulled into the parking lot, made a mobile order, and grabbed a spot. A friendly employee soon brought our food out to us and we thanked him and headed on our way. Our order was hot and complete. A nice quick stop on our journey. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area and are hungry.

It's what you would expect from a small town eatery. Simple, quaint and spacious. The men's restroom was very clean and made for solo occupancy. The burrito came out hot and fresh. I asked for green salsa on top and it came with a spoon size serving of sour cream on the side. It truly was one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had and I ate the whole thing. Be aware, it's pretty big so great for one person if you're very hungry but also perfect for 2 people to share. Absolutely delicious. When I visit cities or towns, I usually enjoy eating at and supporting local restaurants. I highly recommend El Ateño restaurant and I will definitely come back if my business travels bring me to or near Yerington, NV again.

EVERY time I go in there, Vanessa is ALWAYS polite and professional. Same with the rest of the staff. Good food/prices. Beats McDonalds any day. My only complaint is the schools feeling the need to drop a bus load of sports teams in there all at once with (most of the time) no warning to the staff to prepare making the rest of us wait in a massive line of loud kids. Although one time the local baseball team was there in line and the kids were nice enough to let my wife and I through to get our food first. Kudos to them. That isn't Subways fault though. I recommend this place if you're looking for a healthier alternative to MCDonalds. Way better food and prices.

Inside this refurbished old grammar school is an amazing little cafe operated by YTA. I used to come to the cafe when I lived in Yerington and it was under different management. I am so happy to see that the Cafe has been revived under the capable management of Roy Enochson, the Executive Director of YTA. A friend and I decided to have lunch here recently. The Cafe is in the lobby area of the Theater and serves as a place to eat, an art gallery and a boutique for all sorts of arts and crafts most of which are locally made. The space is a bit like being in a favorite Auntie's parlor with little tables, comfy chairs and a visual cornucopia of treasures. My friend ordered the lunch special - butternut squash ravioli with a side salad. I ordered the Cafe Signature Salad - a lovely fresh blend of baby greens, apples, cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts all lightly dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette. I also had a blood orange Italian Soda. The food was all tasty and fresh. Service was vey friendly, but the food was slow coming out. It was worth the wait. Our total bill for the two of us was under $20. While the portions were not huge, the meal was satisfying and the quality was excellent. This is a definite place to stop if you are in the area.
