There is a grill in the back with posted hours as currently open, but I was told that it's NEVER open. SERIOUSLY? I asked for bananas or apples, and they told me they NEVER have any. This is ALWAYS the best place to stop for gas, bathroom break, and a quick snack. They keep this place so nice and inviting. Bathrooms are immaculate. Very clean. The wall art covers the whole inside and makes for a great atmosphere. Workers are always nice and friendly. Great snack, drink, and food options. Reviewer no. 2 This Maverik is located on the corner of Meridian Rd and Franklin Blvd in Meridian. It has a very large corner lot with several fuel pumps, a picnic table, air dispenser (takes credit/debit) and is located directly next door, and shares a parking lot, with Mountain America Credit Union. It opened late Summer 2017. Inside is an updated Maverik with a bakery inside. At this bakery, you can view the menu and order fresh food to be made, almost like fast food, including whole pizzas, which is unlike many of the old Maverik's where they just make food and place it in the hot case. This one does not have a Cinnabon inside. There are tables and chairs for you and your crew to eat at, which again, is unlink many Maverik's and leans toward a fast food atmosphere. They have a large selection of drinks from coffee, tea, soda to Icee's, iced coffee, and flavor shots (cherry, vanilla, lime, lemon). For your coffee is fresh liquid creamer and flavored creamer ( you don't have to open those little annoying plastic containers), and other fun needless calories like dried marshmallows. Maverik is a fun place to shop. You earn rewards on your purchases, have virtual punch cards to redeem free items (10th soda and food item is free), they have an app where you can review your points. I generally trade my points in monthly for a $10 Maverik card which I then give to the kids for gum or snack before school. With this app (Maverik card) you earn 2 cents off per gallon of fuel as well. You can also get the Maverik card linked to your checking account and you earn 6 cents off per gallon and the card works as a check and will clear the bank a few days later. Something I hadn't seen before is the one stop shop sinks they have in the bathroom (see my video). The bathroom sink has an automated soap dispenser on the far left, followed by the automatic water dispenser in the middle, followed by a blow dryer on the far right. You never leave the sink to dry your hands. Perhaps this is new technology elsewhere, but this is the first time I've seen this and I think it's pretty cool. The staff-- they are ALL super friendly. Everyone I've come in contact with-- from the General Manager to all the crew, I've not had a bad experience and of this writing, I've been in over 20 times, and each one has been a great experience. read more

The store manager ( Anna) and team struggle with good quick customer service. The clerk continues to have long conversations with already paid customers. The team misses out on the idea of convenient store quick service. i spoke with Anna about the issue she was rude and dismissive. Hopefully this prime location gets better. read more

The staff are all great people and really friendly the layout of the store is open and spread out so you don't feel crowded in small isles like some of the older stores and it a great to finally have a Maverik in the area also the store and parking lot are very clean I will differently be there on a daily basis read more

The "Manager", an older gal, named T.K. was extremely rude to me today and quite frankly, embarrassed the Maverik name. I went to the location at 57 East Franklin road in Meridian. Two days ago I bough a half gallon of milk around 2am. The gentleman that rang up my transaction did not offer me a receipt and to be honest, I trusted that I didn't need it and was not going to have items to return. I got home and poured a glass of milk only to find out that it had expired. Needless to say I had a date with a porcelain bowl the rest of the morning. I called later that afternoon and asked if I could exchange the milk, as it was bad, but did not have a receipt. He told me he would exchange it without a problem because we, AKA Maverick, stand behind our products and of course he would exchange it. I took it in today and explained the situation to Virginia, who was EXTREMELY, INCREDIBLY NICE!!! She had me get another 1/2 gallon. After looking at the dates, the sell by date was 9/22/19. I explained that I didn't want to have this issue again, even though the milk didn't expire until October 1, 2019. The 1/2 gallon I brought in had the same sell by, and expiration dates as the item I bought. I asked if I could exchange it for a different brand of milk, or something of equal or less value. She offered to get the manager, T.K. The manager told me, very rudely, that none of the milk was expired, the sell date is the last day that company can sell/deliver the products to Maverik. I explained that I would feel bad if I went home and had the same issue; could I exchange for a different brand, or get a full refund. She turned into a "fake nice", very drawn out voice/attitude of sarcasm and said, "Ohhhh suuurrreeee! I guessss we can dooo that! Even though none of the milk is expired!" At that point I asked for a full refund. She continued to be fake nice sarcastic and to tell me the milk was fine. I cut her off, and asked for my money again. She started to process the return, again, trying to tell me the date was a sell by date. I asked her, "Why would I buy a product that your store cannot accept after a certain date? What makes you think it's an issue for me to not want it if your company can't even accept it past the sell by date?" She opened her moth to argue again and I abruptly asked for her name, who was the manager, that Virginia was amazing, and could I please have the number for the company's corporate office. She provided me with the number, my refund, then as I was walking out, she let out another sarcastic drawl..."Have a nice daaaaayyyyy pretty girl!!!" I will continue to buy from Maverik, but if T.K. is working when I buy there, I will not make a purchase that day. Maverik, I'm sorry that this employee has embarrassed what otherwise is a really great store, with your sarcastic, rude choice in management. read more
