It's very clean, organized and employees are friendly. But in top of that, this one is built specifically with travelers in mind as there is a small kids playground and a sizeable dog park to get the energy out of your kids and pets a like. Maverik sets the standard for convenience stores/gas stations...and the one in Fillmore is no exception. It's a staple in our St. George to Salt Lake trip-we always stop for a potty and snack break, as well as to fill up the car. The bathrooms are clean and the store has a little of everything. Outside you'll find picnic tables and a playground-perfect for the youngsters that have a lot of pent up energy just busting to get out of the car. This Maverick right here, is like the Hilton of Mavericks! There's so much to see and even do here! Not only do they usually offer the cheapest gas, before you even get Inside the store there's a little playground! How considerate! So many kids get tired from road trips and that stretch can really help out! Thanks for that guys. Inside there was a dining area, Cinnabon, hot food section, and pizza/taco restaurant deal! I saw a lot of snacks that were made locally, like special popcorn and cheese curds, as well as a really cool selection of road treats! I did get a couple of fresh cinnamon rolls, they were beyond delicious! Whenever your on the road and looking for that store that has EVERYTHING you need before heading into the mountains, look for Maverick! read more

Clean bathrooms with lots of stalls and the stalls are good size, not cramped at all. Also like the stalls have a vacant/occupied sign so no awkward moment of pushing on a door to a stall someone is using lol! read more

5 stars for having an abundance of clean restroom stalls and being incredibly dog-friendly. When on a road trip, there is nothing worse than drinking too many Red Bulls and then quickly trying to find a decent public bathroom (that you don't feel you're going to catch something at)! I can only speak for the women's side, but you can tell they take pride in clean, well-stocked bathrooms. The store itself is your typical "travel ready stop" and the employees were friendly. In addition to all of that, reasonably priced gas considering you're in the middle of Nowhere, UT! Best part??? The DOG PLAY AREA!! This is the first time I've ever seen an actual pseudo "dog park" area with grass & a big fence around it. The dogs loved being able to take a 20 minute break and play some fetch during the long car ride. Right outside the doggie play area was a jungle gym for kids and picnic benches for a meal. I'm only rating the hot chocolate which we have been stopping there for years going from SLC down to St George. It used to be rich and chocolately. No one could beat their hot choc! Now it tastes like chocolate flavored water. We had to add several of the small cups to f cream flavorings to make it palatable, so f that. We have had some friends say the same thing. Hi Guys! After five glorious TOP SHELF ~ CUSTOMER SERVICE filled days in Vegas, we stopped in Fillmore, UT for gas and goodies.. We choose Mavericks at all possible because I know their standards of service ~ Being greeted with a Hello at the register ~ A Thank You after checkout ~ is a standard in their operation.. One of the smaller Maverick stations I've been to, but same high standard of cleanliness. Easy in and out, with clean bathrooms.

There are over 20 gas pumps. This is a very popular stop. People bring their dogs here to pee/poop at the fenced pet park. There are some tables/benches outside for you to sit and eat. There is a Cinnabon place inside. It also sells Maverick brand beef jerky for $ 6.49 (3oz bag). I did not use the restroom this time. The gas price is the most reasonable compared to other gas stations. The gas price listed from GasBuddy is very up to date. The Mid-grade is actually unleaded 87. read more

It's a big Maverick with all the junk food you could ever want. The bathrooms are huge so no lines! They have a small playground and an area for pets. They also have several picnic tables outside. Perfect for a stop when traveling on I-15. The only thing is that on busy days like today, they need to keep up with customer's needs. They had no ketchup in large bottles so we had to use tons of little packets of ketchup for their ginormous hotdogs and the one napkin dispenser was out. read more

This is a common stop for my family between Las Vegas and Provo, which is a frequent trip for us as we live in LV and our daughter lives in Provo. It's got all the usual great Maverik stuff but one big annoyance. For some reason, we have problems every single time we fuel up here when using our debit cards. The card readers won't accept one card at all and they are pretty jittery on the other. The fact that our primary family car has a 38 gallon tank and they make you start a second transaction when you get to $100 in fuel is an even bigger problem. When we have more competent political leadership and the price of fuel is more reasonable, the problem isn't as bad because we only have one pump transaction. When the price goes up and there are two, sometimes it won't take the same card we used for the first $100 when we try to finish fueling. It really seems to only be this particular location and they really need to fix that read more

The store was clean, including the spouts to the soft drink machine and especially the bathrooms which is so important to me. Their drinks are always great with clean fresh tasting nugget ice. The Maverick does it right, all the other gas station/convenience stores need to take a lesson. Customer service and comfort are at the forefront at this chain. This place is pretty freaking impressive. Outside they have a great dog area complete with grass and rock areas and bags & a special garbage can for cleaning up after your pets (which some people still don't do- seriously messed up when they're literally providing it to you). They have a really nice playground for kids and a little area with tables for adults to rest and families to eat- all great for road weary people to get out of their cars for a little while. And this is all with an amazingly beautiful natural backdrop. Then you go inside and they have these huge beautiful murals and fun decor. They have nice big bathrooms (when they haven't closed half of the women's restroom for some unknown reason). And they have a lot of food options. I do wish they had at least 1 burrito that wasn't spicy or breakfast, but still there was a lot of other food. You can't find much other than food there (I'd managed to forget to bring a water bowl for our dogs so we were having to find substitute bowls until we could buy 1). They have a pizza kitchen, which I have to wonder about- people on the road are less likely to buy a pizza to try to eat while driving, but they do have the tables outside, so if you aren't in a hurry to get back on the road maybe you'll have time to buy a pizza and eat it? Hubby said they don't sell by the slice, which I also wonder about- if someone were willing to try to eat pizza while driving they'd be more likely to buy a slice than a whole pizza, but... I'm not the person who did the marketing research so I'm sure they figured out what they were doing, right? Anyway... The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the lines- super long lines, and not all of the registers were manned, and the way the lines were set up, people were confused on whether there were multiple lines or 1 line that split up at the end into the different registers, which when the lines are that long and people are already road weary can cause tempers to flare. I have written several reviews for other Maverik locations in Utah so I'll be brief. I'm a big fan of these gas stations. They have awesome snacks (and not just your usual carb-laden Krispy Kreme donuts and potato chip options, I'm talking boiled eggs, fresh fruit, nuts, cheese, protein bars and more) and a phenomenal soda fountain with lots of drink choices. Clean bathrooms, cheerful employees, and cheap gas too. If you are an animal lover, you'll see lots of cute dogs to pet because they have a nice grassy dog poop area where owners can let their companion animals let off a little steam. Take it from a road warrior like me, this is where you want to stop if you are on the road. read more

This place has remolded within the last 2 or so years and has a much better flow. The restrooms are a hit and miss as to how well they're taken care of. Given how busy they are I think this is to be expected though. I don't usually buy hot foods at gas stations but sometimes I take a peak at them and they looked like they had been made recently enough to be considered fresh still. This place has a play ground outside the gas station too. My kids are too old to play on it now (13+) but I've been taking them here as a break from driving while fueling up/restroom break for a good 10+ years. So, I really appreciate that they had this little area for the kiddos! read more

Very nice Maverick, recently renovated. Nice playground for the kids to play on and there are nice picnic tables by play area. It's right off I-15 which makes it very convenient. I really like the similarity with all Maverik Country Stores. Their Bonfire foods are great -- from their cookies, to their warm foods, to their salads, and their wraps. Haven't met a Bonfire food I haven't like! And they all carry the same sodas, which is amazing since I know they'll have the one that I want! That alone puts Maverik high up on my list. Their rewards program is great as well, so I can get one out of ten for free, including Bonfire products (free cookie, yum!). Although they are all similar, this one proves that they are not all created equal. This one has something that makes it unique. A dog area!! Having a dog that I sometimes take in road trips, this is a specially nice addition. We sometimes pass places that are good just so we can get to their dog area! This is really a review of their awesome condiment bar. Buy a hot dog and you can add as much of the following as you want: Mayo, Chipotle Mayo, Mustard, Dijon Mustard, Spicy Mustard, Ketchup, BBQ Sauce, Sub Sandwich Dressing, Lettuce, Jalepenos, Bananna Peppers, Onions, Kraut, Pickles, Pickle Relish, Salsa, and ugh I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Hell you might even be able to skip the dog and just put a bunch of this stuff into a boat. Maverik's is also great because they have a little pet area so your dog can crap on their lawn. The sherrif's wife works behind the food counter so you know you'll be safe. They have these little things called Bundles, they're sort of like a perogi crossed with a crunch wrap supreme only with out the polish or mexican fillings. During my Christmas travels, we stopped at the Maverik in Fillmore. I just wanted to take a moment and say WOW! What a friendly store, the employees were so kind, and personable! I was impressed with how clean, and stocked this Maverik was, considering it is Christmas Eve! The bathrooms were clean! The pumps were fast! This will be a stop we will plan for in future travels!
