Great job installing a WATER SOFTENER on a well with iron. Prompt reply, excellent communications,…read moreprofessional workmanship. Phil has extensive experience with water softeners. He offered a clear explanation of what was needed to handle the iron. He explained how to size the system for maximum softening while accommodating the available pressure from my well, required for backwash recycling of the softener and iron filter. He was very straightforward about the potential problems managing iron. The iron itself tends to foul valves. He explained how to monitor and avoid this. I have had previous water softener services that tended to over promise and minimize any future issues. This left me disappointed when the equipment had trouble. Phil took the extra step of clearing some of my faucets that had restricted flow because of iron buildup. Fantastic silky water this morning.

He gave me a rough quote without seeing the access. We talked on Saturday just before Christmas and he was able to fit me in Friday just after Christmas. He then explained how the new water heater functioned, he tested all the fittings on the gas line and inspected everything once he was finished. I would absolutely recommend Brant's Plumbing for anyone looking to have a job done!!!!

I'm so disgusted. I need to get this out. I hope this company fixes this because I'm hot literally…read moreand figuratively. First, we had to join the membership plan to even get somebody out here. The original issue was it was freezing in just my master bedroom and bathroom. The rest of the house was comfortable, we thought it was a setting or we were doing something wrong. The salesman comes out and they tell us we have mold and a poor install on a 3 yr old unit. We were petrified of having mold with three teens in the house and us being in our mid 50s so we bought the whole set-up outright. They put it in yesterday. My husband set it up for 65° and it gets 81° upstairs. We turned it off and had to turn the AC on to stop the heat because it just won't stop. They also tried to get us to sign off that we got the entire thing installed even though they did not install the air scrubber or the UV light that we ordered that was the problem from the first unit. We didn't sign it. The install guys left in a hurry after they had already taken a two hour lunch. It's so freaking hot that we had to open up all the windows after we turned the AC on. I feel like there's a hazard. This is not a cheap item!! This furnace, when we get done is $17,000 you can't tell me that $17,000 should buy something better... something that isn't making it feel like my house is already on fire because the air is so hot that my eyeballs have no liquid in them. I wish I was exaggerating. I'm not I can't even breathe. I've been in a house fire before it's not that far off. I'm hoping to God that they fix all of this and I will check back and I'll let you know but right now I am literally and figuratively steaming.

Was referred to First Choice Plumbing by a friend, a very picky friend. Within 72 hours of my first call with this company I had a water heater, sump pump, GFI outlet, condensation pump, and a pressure tank replaced. Communication was excellent, coordinating with the insurance company went smoothly, and now I can sleep at night. Pricing was fair, work was impressive, and I got a warranty on that. All in all a positive experience. Finding a company you can trust to do the job right at a fair price is like searching for that proverbial needle in the haystack. I recommend this company, A+, and I'll be calling them again if I need more service. I'm pleased.

I found them here on Yelp and was *really* worried that I was going to get hosed because I hadn't sought local recommendations from friends. I called and asked the receptionist to ask the plumbers not to ring the doorbell because I had two napping babies. They came easily within an hour on a Friday afternoon and knocked super lightly, and one of them told me he had two twin daughters and completely understood my sensitivity. They got to work quickly, telling me my water pressure had corroded the inside of my faucet and that it'd need to be replaced. They didn't have a replacement handy that'd have fit my sink setup but if I could get one they'd install it. (Using terms I could understand!) They even helped me look on Home Depot's website to make sure that the one I'd order would work. I had no way of getting to Home Depot with two babies napping so soundly -- priorities! -- and so they spoke with their manager who said they'd not bill me for the service charge if I have them come back and be the ones to install the new fixture. They'd only charge me for labor / parts for installing it. Problem solved, husband will be pleased with the $ situation, and babies still napping. ONE HAPPY MOM HERE, PEOPLE!
