Stopped off at this cute little artisanal charcuterie spot to grab some bites for a graze board, and had a very pleasant experience. The woman who helped me even cut up some of the cheese for me because I was concerned about the quality of the knives in my Airbnb, provided samples of some of the cheese and meats I was interested in, and some recommended pairings (wine, and a jam) to accompany the items I chose. I ended up purchasing a 1/4 lb of Jamón Serrano, 1/4 lb of St. Angel Triple Cream, and a little more than a 1/4 lb of 3 month aged Manchego, along with an uncured bacon marmalade to pair with the triple cream cheese, some crackers, and a Pinot Gris. All for about $68 - what a surprise for me as a California gal!

Birthday basket

These guys are amazing! I had ordered their gift basket online from out of state to be delivered to a family member that lives in the area. Unfortunately, a third-party uber eats, door dash, etc. had picked up the item from Mavens Market, but never delivered it. I called Mavens Market, let them know the item had not been delivered and they quickly arranged to have a second basket delivered by their staff in person the same day! The items are top notch from what I've been told, from Jerkies to local cheeses, olives, chocolates, etc. Definitely recommend and will continue to buy from them in the future.

This review is strictly on their ice cream and drink. Omg this place is so good. We came here because we saw a post of nitro cold brew float. After thinking for a bit, we decided to just get the nitro cold brew separately and get Gelato separately. For the gelato, if you get the waffle cone, you can fit up to 4 flavors!!!!! And it's only $5.50! The waffle cone is homemade for sure and it's bigger than most places. We ended up getting raspberry cream, tiramisu, lemon cream and salted caramel. It was soooooooooooo good. The gelato is softer than ice cream but the flavors are alll there. The nitro cold brew was one of the best cold brew we had. And we just use the gelato and dipped it in there and it definitely enhance the flavors. Staff was friendly and this was a perfect end to our vacation

Good food! I got the Montana gold grilled cheese, tomato bisque, and a London fog latte! Everything was delicious.

Ok I dont know how this place doesn't have more reviews. This was my first time visiting Montana…read moreand I've heard that beef here is amazing. Wanted to give some local meat a try and cook it on my own during the visit. Daniel's gourmet meats provided amazing fresh cuts of meat from bison to elk to beef to other things. There was fresh meat and jerky. The jerky was probably some of the best I've tasted. Came back at the end of my trip to grab a few more bags to take home. The store seemed well stocked and we'll organized so it wasn't overwhelming to navigate, which can be a problem for smaller stores when everything can be disorganized. Also the staff were really friendly and there were even samples of sausages to try!

Now, we go to Daniel's once a week and pick up ribeyes, porterhouses and ground beef. The prices are basically the same as the big markets, the quality is not even close. Daniel's meats are the best you're going to find anywhere. I still am not a big meat eater, but thanks to Daniel's I eat more beef than before and sure do enjoy the steaks and burgers. Even their chicken is noticeably better than elsewhere, at no more cost. To top it off, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Unless you have a thing for eating meat that isn't top notch, there's no reason to go anywhere else for your meat (I'm talking everywhere from Whole Foods to Safeway to Rosauer's to T&C to Costco and Winco).

**November 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit**…read more My mom and I were looking for some local Montana gifts and food and saw the huge Co-op building on a drive down Main Street. The parking lot is kind of small, but we were able to find a spot to squeeze into on our visit. When you enter the building you'll see an impressive self-serve section and I noticed quite a few people loading up their plates or to go boxes. There's an island of ingredients to make your own salad and a couple of home made soups, and another area for hot items. My mom and I decided to share a squash soup, a small salad, and an assortment of hot items including South Carolina pulled pork, mac n cheese, biscuits and gravy, and mashed potatoes. I also decided to try a local kombucha which was really refreshing. We grabbed our utensils close to the exit and headed upstairs to enjoy our food. After we devoured everything we perused the main floor and bought a lot of Montana based goodies including teas, Bequet caramels, soaps, and skincare products. Suffice to say I spent quite a bit of money here, but I'm happy to support local and be able to share the Montana spirit with my family and friends! I'd say Community Food Co-op is kind of like a cross between Trader Joes and Whole Foods, but with a great emphasis on sustainability and local goods. Price range is $$-$$$ range depending on the items.

There is even a small cafe upstairs where many locals stop in daily for a quality lunch. I had an excellent Cappuccino. Once I completed my shopping.
