The smell in the air of the pine and forest are worth every penny. Each room has a private deck with table and chairs overlooking the forest behind the lodge. Inside the main lodge is beautiful and clean, with a pool table and games upstairs. They also have cabins for rent and an entire house for larger groups. The cost is better than the hotels in town, and for the privacy and quiet, this is the only experience worth paying for. But if you need something, town is only a couple minutes drive. My sweety and I spent our evenings during by the pond, listening to the fountain and looking at the stars. The people here have been incredibly polite, friendly, and as helpful as you could ask for. I understand that ownership has changed hands in recent months, so don't give any heed or negative reviews. These people are not the same. Fantastic place! We HIGHLY recommend staying here. Emili and her staff did a phenomenal job from the moment I first contacted them to the execution of a delicious dinner. Emili was professional and promptly communicated at each step of the process. All our guests enjoyed the delicious food (hot Italian food served in early January). Her staff even helped buss the finished disposable plates off the tables which I didn't expect! And Emili offered to step in and help with our dessert serving logistics even though it wasn't part of the order from WW. Emili is a very engaged vendor that provides outstanding catering! BEWARE! This place turns a blind eye to thieves!…read more One of PLAYLive's regular customers defrauded at least three people out of over $1000 worth of M:TG cards through FaceBook trading groups. What does this have to do with PLAYLive you ask? Fair question! PLAYLive printed at least two of that person's shipping labels for these fraudulent transactions. Said labels lists PLAYLive as the return address. The person then never sent the packages after the labels were generated. I reached out to PLAYLive through FaceBook to ask about this. They said they would check with the person involved and let me know. A month went by and they never got back to me. Today I contacted them to make them aware of another package that PLAYLive had printed out for this person back in December. The reply I got was "it has nothing to do with me" and to "stop harassing me." I want to be clear; I am not saying PLAYLive was knowingly complicit in this person's thefts. However, they have been presented with what I consider indisputable evidence that one of their regular customers is a thief. In my opinion, turning a blind eye to this is putting all of their other customers at risk to have property stolen.
