I wanted a perm because I killed my natural curls and I have not been happy with just straight hair. There are only 2 hair salons that offer perm and I am so happy I went here. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it down to each curl on my forehead. Nancy is so kind and very knowledgeable. Super nice lady but my haircut turned out awful. It was lopsided with the fade on one side about 2" higher than the other side. I would have had her even it out but she couldn't tell it was lopsided...if you can't see the problem then how can you fix it?I left. Luckily I have a set of clippers at home and COVID has made me half decent at cutting my own hair so I decided to fix it myself. In the end I just have a really high fade on either side and long in the middle. Kind of like a mow hawk except I push it to the side. They are in a great location with plenty of parking options, but don't forget to pay the meter! I got a solid haircut and beard trim by Amanda and she was really friendly and professional. I would definitely return. The only thing that kept this review from the coveted 5 stars was that the schedulicity program used to make appointments advertised first time hair and beard trims at $40,while returning customers range from $40+; but I was charged $45. It's just $5 no biggy but figured I'd mention it. I was also looking forward to the complimentary hot towel wrap and beverage advertised on schedulicity but perhaps that is only for returning customers as well? - hopefully next time. Overall a good spot, good staff, good outcome and a good experience. I'd recommend trying them out for yourself!

We hit off right away and the accommodations and free beverages was a cool touch. I felt very welcome and tried a new cut and technique I never even considered before. I appreciated the attention to detail and how Ken likes a challeng, I could not be me more happy with the results. I gotta tell you, I feel pampered when she trims my hair and beard. The hair at my crown will stand up funny if my hair is cut wrong. I have, what's called, a triple crown! I told her about the problem...she has never made a mistake with my haircut. It has always laid down flat and looked great when she's finished. Another thing I like about her is that she takes her time. I can't tell you how many times I've spent $20 - $30 on a haircut and was only in the chair for 5 minutes.
