It was the best haircut I've probably had in decades. Certainly, Sarah Marr gave me the best one I've had in this county (and I've been to many different places--salons and barbershops). I've finally found the person to cut my hair for as long as I live here (and I hope that's for a very long time). And, she's a great value! You'll see that she deserves a generous tip. And, no, I am not a friend of hers, and only met her the once (so far). It was another friend who referred me to her.

I wanted a perm because I killed my natural curls and I have not been happy with just straight hair. There are only 2 hair salons that offer perm and I am so happy I went here. Super nice lady but my haircut turned out awful. It was lopsided with the fade on one side about 2" higher than the other side. I would have had her even it out but she couldn't tell it was lopsided...if you can't see the problem then how can you fix it?I left. Luckily I have a set of clippers at home and COVID has made me half decent at cutting my own hair so I decided to fix it myself. In the end I just have a really high fade on either side and long in the middle. Kind of like a mow hawk except I push it to the side. I should have know when the only pictures are a guy with a shaved head not looking particularly happy.

They are in a great location with plenty of parking options, but don't forget to pay the meter! I got a solid haircut and beard trim by Amanda and she was really friendly and professional. I would definitely return. The only thing that kept this review from the coveted 5 stars was that the schedulicity program used to make appointments advertised first time hair and beard trims at $40,while returning customers range from $40+; but I was charged $45. It's just $5 no biggy but figured I'd mention it. I was also looking forward to the complimentary hot towel wrap and beverage advertised on schedulicity but perhaps that is only for returning customers as well? - hopefully next time. Overall a good spot, good staff, good outcome and a good experience. I'd recommend trying them out for yourself!

I sent them PROOF of their error, showing both what they advertise on their own website and photos of what I actually received, then they stopped communicating altogether. I even offered to take a loss and accept an 80% refund and donate the hair topper to settle the matter quickly. Nothing. I was very patient, but I now truly believe this is a scam operation where they send you cheap goods at a marked up price, even if it's not what you want, and you take a loss either way while they profit. And although they tell you they are based in LA, the product ships from China. False and misleading advertising. Horrendous customer service. The hair topper itself is okay for the price - just not useful at all for me as the base is not big enough to cover all the areas where my hair is thinning. A horrible experience. Never again! I urge caution if you think you are getting a bargain because you may not even get what you purchased and will pay again to resolve the issue. BEWARE!!
