Essentiallyhair sent me the wrong item (the base I received was HALF the size of the advertised…read morebase that I ordered) then they expected me to pay to return it in spite of the fact that it was their error, or accept a fraction of the cost (20% refund) to keep an item I can't use. I sent them PROOF of their error, showing both what they advertise on their own website and photos of what I actually received, then they stopped communicating altogether. I even offered to take a loss and accept an 80% refund and donate the hair topper to settle the matter quickly. Nothing. I was very patient, but I now truly believe this is a scam operation where they send you cheap goods at a marked up price, even if it's not what you want, and you take a loss either way while they profit. And although they tell you they are based in LA, the product ships from China. False and misleading advertising. Horrendous customer service. The hair topper itself is okay for the price - just not useful at all for me as the base is not big enough to cover all the areas where my hair is thinning. A horrible experience. Never again! I urge caution if you think you are getting a bargain because you may not even get what you purchased and will pay again to resolve the issue. BEWARE!!

Wow, I am so glad to have met Cathy, I found her shop through Yelp and I went in with confidence…read moreand was rewarded beautifully! I showed Cathy a few pictures on my cell phone, and she made my hair look better than I thought possible. She is patient, calm, professional, so nice and pleasant; the whole atmosphere in Cathy's shop is relaxed and beautiful. I got a lot of compliments on my hair all day! I love it, I'm so grateful to Cathy. I'll be coming back to Cathy regularly and I will recommend her to all my friends. Cathy is my new hairdresser. You know when you find a good one, keep her! I felt so great all day, huge confidence boost. I got a great cut and I also got a hairstyle I can manage, so I'll still be looking great day after day! (Puppy Lucy is a real sweetheart, it was heartwarming to get puppy kisses as a thankyou at the end of my appointment.)

It was the best haircut I've probably had in decades. Certainly, Sarah Marr gave me the best one I've had in this county (and I've been to many different places--salons and barbershops). I've finally found the person to cut my hair for as long as I live here (and I hope that's for a very long time). And, she's a great value! You'll see that she deserves a generous tip. And, no, I am not a friend of hers, and only met her the once (so far). It was another friend who referred me to her.
