It's been weeks ago and I've heard nothing further. I contacted a local company and recently had the window totally replaced. Coincidently, the installer used to work for Exterior D & W. Said he left due to their business practices, such as what they did to me, not following up with the customer & standing behind their product and warranty. Caveat emptor, people, you get what you pay for.
