Their crews showed up and made quick work and provided a good looking job and thoroughly cleaned up. They addressed some small issues post install quickly and without question. There was no nickel and diming, they gave a good quote and worked with me on small changes. Real, honest roofers from Perry County who keep their promises; not jobbers/middlemen, like you'll get with the big Cumberland/Lancaster outfits with fancy trucks and sales guys who won't give you a written quote (that means you, TEC and Titan Roofing). They don't even advertise -- all word of mouth. Done in a single day, everything _precisely_ as promised by the owner Javin Zimmerman, his brother Kevin was in charge of the crew that day, all polite and clean-cut young men. Paid half up front, the other half when we got our GAF System Plus warranty card in the mail a few weeks later. I know two other homeowners in our neighborhood who went with Tuscarora and when the one had what he thought was an issue (something stuck under a shingle making it bulge), Javin was there the next day, long after the job was done & paid for. And oh, by the way, came in way under everyone else's quote -- probably because experienced roofers work faster/harder than some pick-up team from Home Depot. Javin and these guys were the 14th ...and last quote. I was not even going to get a quote, but was very into the process at this point and felt they really had excellent reviews from all available sites. I was not sure if he would come this far and before winter hit, as my roof was pretty bad. He came within two days, I showed him problem areas and allowed for additional foundation. He also had to add a new skylight and the old one was no longer made in those measurements. To my surprise and delight the price was the lowest quote and he was way under what I thought after additional work was done! Just hard working, honest bunch of guys all the way around! I received my Life time warranty and there were absolutely no hitches. Javin went out of his way to keep me posted, completed the job in two days as expected since there was major damage and hole in roof by attic. Trustworthy men, these Zimmermans. A team of five brothers replaced my entire roof in 2 days. Javin recommended the Weathered Wood shingle and my wife loves it. They also used brown flashing around my chimney which was an improvement over the old white. They started when they said they would and worked the whole day. Sorry to say I'm not at all impressed! Showed up a month late. But that's not all. After having metal roof installed on a brand new house. Agreed to install a $21,300.00 metal roof. The ridge cap in the center of the roof is removing itself due to improper fastener placement. This is creating a 1" to 2" gap opening between ridge cap and panels which will allow water to enter under roof! As time progresses the fasteners are loosening, which in return making situation worse. I reached out to JAVIN ZIMMERMAN after 5 attempts and begging to call back. He did, we reviewed problem over phone he openly admitted it was wrong and agreed to fix saying,(we do it differently now on all the roofs after mine.)Well that was the last I heard from him it's now 8 months later still no reply!!!! I would not recommend there services as for they were learning how to do a roof on my expense and failed. It also seems like their haste outweighs there ability to do quality. read more
