They after a couple years the roof started to leak all over. They came and told me the screws had backed out so they tightened them. A couple years later the same thing. This year there were several more bad leaks they came and "tightened" screws again, but it still leaked. Joe told me it looked like a rafter was sagging from moisture and that is why it was leaking. Later i found a panel that was over lapped incorrectly and that was causing one of the leaks. I let them know but they haven't got back to me. I had another roofing contractor look at the roof. He said not only wast that panel incorrect but the roof it self was not installed to the manufacturer specifications and that it would always no mater how many times they tighten the screws. The only fix it to replace the roof and install it correctly.

I used DePalma to replace the roof, gutters, and downspouts at my house last year. The process was…read moresupposed to take two days - I had assumed two consecutive days but was later told the roof and the metal work would be two different teams and would occur at separate times. Nothing was done correctly. The installation team had trash blowing everywhere including my neighbors' yards. Moreover, there were numerous shingles that were damaged when they were installed and later replaced during follow-up visits. There were so many issues, I questioned going ahead with the gutters and downspouts but was assured the metal team was great. I decided to give DePalma the benefit of the doubt but was let down again because the gutters leaked from day one and the downspouts were installed with the outlets inches from the foundation. I lost track of how many visits DePalma made to "look at" and fix things but I have at least 14 emails back and forth to Amber along with pictures of problems I encountered. Each time someone came to the house, there were nails or screws left in the driveway or on the street. I will say that DePalma was extremely responsive to my emails and requests for follow-up but I don't think the issues I had would have occurred if the teams were professional and conscientious in the work they did. I grimace every time I see one of DePalma's signs saying they're the most trusted roofing company in central PA because I would never recommend them. At the conclusion of this escapade - which lasted from 2023 into 2024 - I received a $500 discount from the total project estimate. I appreciated that but money wasn't the issue. I wanted peace of mind by purchasing a new roof and gutters and got aggravation and uncertainty instead.

They weren't pushy with trying to get you to purchase the most expensive shingle and had the quote broke down to see what each level cost. By far was the cheapest of the 8 quotes we received. Also liked that they have financing available with very reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend DePalma for your roofing needs.

They provided a fair and reasonable quote for the material and work needed. Their crews showed up and made quick work and provided a good looking job and thoroughly cleaned up. They addressed some small issues post install quickly and without question. There was no nickel and diming, they gave a good quote and worked with me on small changes. I had received multiple companies' quotes, and I picked them because they were middle of the range for the same material and were easy to work with and gave the initial impression of being more than 'salesman' and invested in the customer experience.

We were the first roof of the season and were very pleased with the crew that came. They removed two layers of shingles, and installed a quality Owen Corning system including the ridge vents and clean up work all the same day. When they left you could not even tell they were here except for a few marks where the ground was soft which no one could of avoided. They have the greatest lady on clean up that removed every last little piece of debris. Another really impressive way they do business was they did not even require any deposit! I found this very unusual on a construction project not to at least require something for the material purchase, but payment at once in full after satisfaction seems to be their forte. I have worked part of my life in machine shops, doing quality control with tolerances in the microns and also have built 4 homes myself with the exception of HVAC and masonry. I would of done this roof myself but my knees and age did not let me. Really am glad I found R E Kuba and I have already left several other friends know who to go for when they need a job done.

And, more importantly, very little information concerning chimney condition and integrity of interior lining. Received proposal to Replace chimney Crown, Flashing, power wash and seal bricks. Estimated at a little over $4,000. The Technician that came to my home was polite and professional. I did watch as they worked -- cleaning fireplace, did not see them inspect interior of Chimney. Technician also showed me random photos from internet of Chimney stack (above roof) tops to explain issues with "crown" but did not show me pictures of my chimney. Then he went to truck and returned with tablet (ipad?) to have me sign and pay inspection bill. Said I would receive inspection report and a proposal for recommended work via e-mail. Did receive them. No contemplating recommendation -- proposed work.

I agreed to the repair in August and was told I would be given a quote and the work would be completed . The work was still not complete by October and I was then contacted by Anderson's that they needed me to pay for parts up front. Again they were supposed to get back to me in August. I paid their advance bill in October only because I prompted the discussion and waited. On November 7th they came to repair the wood stove but broke the stove door's plate glass and took it to the shop for repair. They promised to return November 14th to install the repaired door. No one showed. When I called the office they blamed the technician. I then talked to the technician. He told me the replacement glass arrived broken and that it would have to be reordered. He said the admin staff should have called to inform me of the new delay. Then I talked to the office manager who said they would have to follow-up with ordering more glass since they hadn't yet done that! In summary, a job that was promised to be completed in August 2024 is still not complete as of November 16, 2024 and the company took my money up front. Mr Anderson, you really need to train your staff concerning ownership of issues! Potential customers, steer clear of this company!
