They discovered some rot in the substrate and replaced that at minimal additional cost. All the work was done perfectly and quickly. Attention to detail was amazing. In addition to the garage roof, they noticed a few small issues on the front porch and gutter and fixed them for no cost. I cannot recommend them enough. The area was clean when done, they were polite, and excellent workers. I would highly recommend them...won't find a better place than this to do your roof work.

He was hired to replace old shingles and do any necessary repairs as we did have some roof leaking. At no point did he bring OSB to make repairs. We also had him remove some old roof vents and his crew just put shingles over the gaping holes. They left half the roof uncovered and we had a severe storm the next day and all the bare OSB got wet and I had water in half the house. He knew it was to rain the next day and did not cover the exposed half of OSB. Needless to say we had to take him to small claims court, and we won. He is a bad person and should not be in business at all. If he already did work on your property, you better have a competent contractor check it, because Sam probably cut corners wherever he could.

for starters the building is out of square. two of the poles are scabbed at the top just to reach…read morethe top of the trusses with 2x4's. every screw that was installed to secure the metal was tightened to the point of denting the metal and some even missed the wood. for the ones that missed they just globed silicone on them and called it good. When they put the banner board on instead of removing the drillings they just laid it on top of the dirt. which put the front doors two feet of the driveway. There answer to me was just bring in Shail. They could do this for an extra fee of course. But the real kick in the nuts was when they put the post in the ground, they never put anything under them for footing. Mister fisher insisted they put concrete in the holes, but none was onsite to do so. I was here to receive the materials at that time and the apparent skid of concrete that was ordered never existed. but regardless the footings where to be 36" round by 8"thick disc of concrete not just a bag of ready mix. as for the warranty it holds no water. I was told mister fisher by Levi himself that he been building buildings for thirty years and he was not interested in reinventing the wheel to do so. long story short now I'm stuck paying for a monstrosity with no satisfaction over the last for years. That i wish i would have gotten someone honest. If you have fishers build your building better watch for the short cuts there everywhere and the warranty is as good as the toilet paper in the locale gas station.

Maven Construction, part of BuiltMaven.com and formerly DS Siding installed a full new roof in…read moreAugust 2022 at my home in State College and refused to come look at the leaking roof 2 years later stating there was no longer a warranty. Sam at Maven Construction who installed the roof as DS siding, required $250 to come out to look at the leak for a service call and stated it wouldn't be covered regardless of what he saw. The 2 separate and independent roofers provided me with repair estimates and both found the leak to be from installation error, poor workmanship, a lack of properly installed flashing, exposed nail heads, damaged shingles from walking during a hot installation, and a negated manufacture warranty from Owens Corning due to incorrect installation. Shoddy workmanship as the leak origin was confirmed by the insurance adjuster. Sam has not rectified the situation, the damages incurred, nor the improperly installed new roof. I do not recommend Maven Construction as they provided inferior and subpar work and do not stand behind their installation with a sufficient roof warranty. 0 stars. Do not use.
