Luckily they had one at the shop ($1300 which I agreed to pay) but not worries thus far. He wrapped up and moved along... the next day, I was concerned about the pricing and asked a local HVAC distributor about the price on the motor and they priced it at $200.... Seriously? 600 % mark up? Looks at the invoice and realized I was charged for 4 hours... my phone log and cameras show he called when he left his previous job at 3:29pm and left my house at 6:30pm. When I called the office the next day they needed to check on a few things but would call me back. Their response: part was another end model and was therefore more expensive. 6-1/2 times more expensive? I have to admit he did tell me it was expensive. As far as the rake, they informed me that they build door-to-door meaning from when he leaves his last appointment to whenever he either clocks out or goes to his next appointment so I was charging an additional hour for most likely his travel home. Sour grapes? Maybe but do yourself a favor. Get the details of the pricing before you commit to anything.

They scheduled me for a Monday when I was off and cancelled my appointment without notifying me because there were other "no heat" jobs that needed to be rolled on. Nevermind the fact that my furnace wasn't currently installed because it needed removed for a homeowner's claim. She had quoted me time and materials for the job over the phone. Which I expect could be done in an hour. After going down and speaking with her in office she admitted she must not have listened to a word I said and that if I couldn't take time off work I'd have to wait another week to get the furnace installed. Also, it would be 3-4 hours work minimum at $96 per hour to have the furnace installed. I will NEVER work with this company or recommend them to anyone I know. I'll actively warn people not to work with this company. They had also sent a tech out to disconnect my A/C unit a few weeks prior and he was extremely unhelpful when I was asking questions about the way the system worked. Customers BEWARE! - Boyer Refrigeration - Update 10/23/18 - Scott Boyer has reached out to me directly to apologize for the inconvenience. He has corrected the issue and is setting up a company policy to ensure that the issues I experienced should be less likely to reoccur for future customers. I appreciate the owner reaching out to me directly and assisting in resolving the miscommunication.

I wish I would have never got my furnace from them. Please, please, go with someone else. What a joke, and this is the coldest week of the year. I contacted John from JBN Mechanical and he came around the next day. He identified what he thought was the problem and came back the next day. The new part didn't fix the problem, and things were looking grim. But John went looking again and found a wire that had either been chewed by a mouse or scraped up against the unit's casing. He fixed this and recharged the system and everything is working very well. And I didn't have to buy a whole new system!! John was professional and very courteous and I would trust him to do an honest job for you, if you need HVAC solutions. I have no problem giving a 5-star review.

He knows geothermal inside and out and he saved me from getting muscled by another company that didn't know how to work on geothermal but claimed they did, and bottom line didn't really care about trying to fix it. They just wanted to sell me a new furnace. John, said he would come and take a look to see if he could do anything. Do anything???? He literally fixed it in less than 10 minutes!! His experience and knowledge was impressive to say the least. My unit is fixed, and yes I'm going to need a new one soon. And I'll be going to John to do it. Good honest man who does an amazing job, doesn't want to price gouge you or pressure you, when you are already stressed at having no heat in your home. I now have peace of mind, till I'm ready and able to replace.
