Floors are good enough. Felt pressured to pick a stain quick after I had to request the stain brands he uses so I had more than five minutes to pick. It was nerve wracking and the worker he sent said most people take long to choose a stain and I wasn't being difficult as the owner insinuated I was. The other problem was the transition from the hardwood to our kitchen tile was not done with care. We now have a long divet in the floor in front of the transition. They used the large sander instead of the hand sander which would have made the transition smooth. My husband will have to fix it because they wouldn't when we asked them to look at it. Very disappointed with the way we were treated. Not impressed!!!

In the process of being in a big hurry, one of the English as a second language, installers was hasty in trying to move my refrigerator out of its resting place to make more room for the countertop install. Without asking me YES or NO on this move he rolled it out and pushed it to the side which caused damage to my expensive wooden floors. I brought this up to the company rep and the installer denied it happened. We know our floors we know every inch and ding in the floor, this was not previous damage. Long story short, I am on the hook to repair my wooden floors at my cost. Whatever you do, if you go with them to get new counter tops, make sure you take pictures of the before and after and never leave them alone during the installation.

Initially, I called another construction outfit, and after telling me they could do the job, and after many delays, they later said the job was too small for them. Then I came across Biilt. Biilt, took the job, and I couldn't be happier. During their inspection it was discovered that there was some rotted wood to the original overhang. The house is old, really old, so this didn't come as a surprise. The Biilt crew was able rebuild the entire overhang and at a reasonable price. Construction, roofing, even clean up, they did it all, and their staff were polite and willing to work with me though the project. Cody, Aaron and the rest of the Biilt team did a fantastic job. The deck and overhang look great now and will probably outlast the rest of the house. Solid professional construction. In the future, my first call for quality construction needs, will be to Biilt. And I'm sure they can do the same for you.

We had a master suite added on, including laundry, closet space, and a full bath. First and foremost - they were on budget and on time FOR EVERYTHING. I had heard so many horror stories from friends who had contract work done, and I was shocked at how smoothly everything went and how responsive everyone at BiiLT was. There of course were issues. There always are - but Brent was always there to walk us through what was going on and ensure things didn't get off pace. Were I to do any work like this again - I would call them first without looking anywhere else. We even had issues with a neighbor who was just a pain during the process. Brent intervened and just handled everything. And the addition? My only regret is not doing it sooner. It is beautiful. I love my new master suite. I have never had the opportunity to live in new construction, and 4 months into living in this room, I still love it!

But more critical- they are doing a large job in my neighborhood and have failed to pull required permits. This means no inspections to protect our safety or our investment. Not meant to bash the work ethic or quality... but there are real concerns for our community. Also because they have no place to store equipment theyve created an eyesore in our neighborhood. If you are hiring-- you may get passable work... but the devil might be in the details.
