Horrible customer service. The owner doesn't have office skills and doesn't communicate to clients…read morevia phone will only use email and gives an attitude if he's bothered. Floors are good enough. Felt pressured to pick a stain quick after I had to request the stain brands he uses so I had more than five minutes to pick. It was nerve wracking and the worker he sent said most people take long to choose a stain and I wasn't being difficult as the owner insinuated I was. The other problem was the transition from the hardwood to our kitchen tile was not done with care. We now have a long divet in the floor in front of the transition. They used the large sander instead of the hand sander which would have made the transition smooth. My husband will have to fix it because they wouldn't when we asked them to look at it. Very disappointed with the way we were treated. Not impressed!!!

I came across Wertz Handyman Service through social media after seeing multiple people rave about…read moreboth the quality of work and the pricing. I had a small (but important) project at my house and knew I wanted to hire someone who was a legitimate, professional business -- not just a "guy with a truck." Think: licensed, insured, organized, and trustworthy. Adam Wertz checked all of those boxes and then some. From the very first interaction, Adam was incredibly responsive. He quickly scheduled a time to come out, take a look at the project, and provide a quote -- which he turned around just as quickly. His communication was clear, professional, and easy to follow every step of the way. One thing I especially appreciated was his use of a web-based system for quotes, scheduling, invoicing, and payment. It made the entire process seamless and super convenient -- no back-and-forth confusion, no chasing paperwork, just straightforward and efficient. Once I approved the quote, we got on the schedule, and Adam showed up right on time (which already puts him ahead of a lot of contractors I've worked with in the past). He got straight to work, no nonsense, and completed the project efficiently while still making sure everything was done right. Before wrapping up, he made sure I was happy with the finished result and even offered to come back if any issues popped up -- which speaks volumes about the kind of service he provides. It's not always easy to find someone you feel comfortable trusting to work on your home, but Adam absolutely earned that trust. I'm really glad I found Wertz Handyman Service and will definitely be using him again for future projects. If you're looking for someone reliable, professional, and easy to work with, this is it!
