I hired this company to refinish my hardwood floors. The job should have took about a week…read more Unfortunately, it took several weeks mostly due to the company's own mistakes. This added time caused me to have to get a hotel for a week. I found the owner Max to be unprofessional. The longer the job took to complete the more his professionalism decreased it seemed. A few examples that I find demonstrate his unprofessionalism were his lying and this belief that he could have charged me for the time it took him to fix his mistakes. I also found his threat of suing me and putting a lien on my home very unprofessional, when I had never once said he was not getting final payment. It was never brought up because the final walk through kept getting postponed because of their mistakes. The day I confronted him on him lying was when he ended the job and claimed it was complete and said if he didn't get his final payment he would sue me and put a lien on my house. He was paid the final payment when he came back to my home and fixed my sink (they put brushes with oil poly in my sink, which caused poly to be stuck to my stainless steal sink). The end result of the hardwood floors I would say is average. The sanding and staining for the most part look good with the exception of the stairs and closet. The finish however has hard bumps, hairs, craters, and in some spots the poly appears to separating between the boards. It gives a white line look, which is noticeable since l opted for a dark stain. My closet was poly shaded, because the stain wasn't right. My stairs are much darker than the rest of the floor despite the treads being the same type of wood as the rest of the floor. I also don't care for the oil poly he chose to use (Bona woodline). I wish I would have pushed for duraseal premium (fabulon).

He worked on it and used heat but it stayed the same. He said it would work out on it's own which I thought how could it when he had just cemented it down . I called him several times and at first he said there was nothing he could do that something must have been on the carpet roll to flatten it. I told him that I was not happy. This was around a $1000.00 job. Then he said he would replace it but the last time I called his father answered and I heard Jason say he didn't want to talk. So it has been over a year that I have been waiting. I was going to get carpet throughout my house but as you might guess, he will not be doing it. Really sorry I went with him. I 'm not a professional but I would have refused the flattened roll of carpet and got another roll. I would have thought he would have been professional enough to know that.

I wanted to love the floors, we waited months for the project and I was so excited. We had read…read morereviews that the owner could be difficult but the quality of work reviews overshadowed that. That was a mistake. He was condescending and rude from the start of the project and then as soon as he received payment completely ghosted us. His team is wonderful and the color turned out beautiful. There were issues with the dust free sanding and we came home to a layer of dust on everything, after reaching out he made that right. But when I questioned a few other items, he took no accountability, made me feel like I was a bother and was offensive. The hard protective coating they use is supposed to help with dog scratches. It did not, but has made our first floor a complete ice skating rink. Our dog grips what is left of her nails in just to walk on the floors. Jon wouldn't respond to me on what product I could use to help cover the scratches but his team told me to put down rugs. So, I just paid thousands to turn around and pay hundreds on rugs to cover the floors. Very disappointed in the professionalism of Jon and the promise his hard coating works great with dogs.

We had a tree fall on our house last summer. There was quite a bit of damage to the back deck porch…read moreand the porch overhang. Initially, I called another construction outfit, and after telling me they could do the job, and after many delays, they later said the job was too small for them. Then I came across Biilt. Biilt, took the job, and I couldn't be happier. During their inspection it was discovered that there was some rotted wood to the original overhang. The house is old, really old, so this didn't come as a surprise. The Biilt crew was able rebuild the entire overhang and at a reasonable price. Construction, roofing, even clean up, they did it all, and their staff were polite and willing to work with me though the project. Cody, Aaron and the rest of the Biilt team did a fantastic job. The deck and overhang look great now and will probably outlast the rest of the house. Solid professional construction. In the future, my first call for quality construction needs, will be to Biilt. And I'm sure they can do the same for you.

We had a master suite added on, including laundry, closet space, and a full bath. First and foremost - they were on budget and on time FOR EVERYTHING. I had heard so many horror stories from friends who had contract work done, and I was shocked at how smoothly everything went and how responsive everyone at BiiLT was. There of course were issues. There always are - but Brent was always there to walk us through what was going on and ensure things didn't get off pace. Were I to do any work like this again - I would call them first without looking anywhere else. We even had issues with a neighbor who was just a pain during the process. Brent intervened and just handled everything. And the addition? My only regret is not doing it sooner. It is beautiful. I love my new master suite. I have never had the opportunity to live in new construction, and 4 months into living in this room, I still love it!
