I checked their Yelp & felt a little skeptical because unfortunately the reviews were different from my friend's experience. However, my girl is reliable & I trust her judgement, so I went and grabbed hair & hair jewelry from the hair store and drove over to the salon. The salon is set up nicely, it was clean, the stylists all wore masks and I was offered a friendly greeting upon entry. Adele came and chatted w/ me a bit & within 15 mins I was headed to the back. The wash was a nice & gentle experience & the products used made my hair soft, manageable, and smell amazing (Like butterscotch). Next, I was in the chair. I found out they supply the hair & hair jewelry but I opted to use my own since I already bought it in with me. (Just an FYI, the hair they used on other patrons came right out of a new pack so I will be using it next go 'round). Well about 2 hrs later I was ready to walk out the door. My hair was neatly and beautifully braided! The other patrons I saw leave out prior to myself hair looked just as good as mine and they all left with smiles on their faces. So I made an appointment totally expecting to pay for it. She was like uhm the color is free. I was like "say what". She did a great job this is more me, and I really think I am done trying to put color in my hair. She was very happy I gave her the chance to fix it. That to me meant a lot. Most stylists get tuddy when you point out things. Not Teresa she was like ok let me fix it, and she did just that. This is for sure my new salon! She cut it even too, it's a little shorter than I expected. However it will grow back faster that way, plus it's even:) I plan on returning to her to keep my hair right and tight. The hairstylist took another 3 hours just to put the hair color in my hair. My flexi rod curls were completed by the hair stylist's assistant (who by the way did a wonderful job). Sadly we did not leave the salon until a few minutes after 10:00pm. I was in this salon from 2:00pm to 10:15pm. My entire day was spent in this salon.
