He came by in person for a quick consultation so that we could align on expectations and he thoroughly went over my options and answered my 100 questions. Because our roof line is asymmetrical I challenged Issac with how we could find balance and his creative solution was to install some up lights which paid off. I ultimately decided to only have the front of our house done because our neighbors are close by and felt that would be disruptive for them. The team was ready to install 1.5 weeks later and they did a great job at keeping the cords nicely tucked away where possible and neatly tacked. Further they offered an additional service to clean the gutters for an incremental cost which we opted in for as a double whammy. They also followed up several times by email to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the outcome. They gave us a sliding scale depending on labor for specific jobs. When they invoiced us, they included receipts for parts... this is something that we rarely see but it creates a sense of trust and honesty. There are no surprises. Our first job was a lesser, more simple, job-we had at few sockets replaced one of which was a very loose socket that we were concerned about arcing. The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. I went in today to get a couple of shades that could handle the heat generated by the bulbs I use, and that wouldn't collect dust (a big problem on our potholed street). Again, Amanda selected a couple of non-cloth shades that will work beautifully and can be wiped off with a damp cloth. She also knows ALL about the workings of lamps (more to it than you'd think), and always has the little part or fitting that you need. You won't find this kind of expertise online!

It is supposed to turn the lights on and off when it senses you walk in and out. The universe had other plans. It tuned on and off when the wind blew, when I sneezed, when the dog barked.
