Stopped at Walmart auto department due to my tire thread separating. They were leaving early for Mothers Day which was the next day. Fortunately, another tire place took the time to help me so I could drive the 120 miles I needed to get home. This Walmart does not care about their customers at all or the safety of the vehicles they service or refuse to service.

In fact, I couldn't even stay more than about 30 seconds in the women's clothing area before I had to hightail it to the other, "fresher" side of the store. The merch here is pretty ratty. My guess is, because of their far north location, they probably aren't in the PNW Goodwill pipeline, where donations get distributed across a broad area. It feels more like this is just local stuff being donated, and much of it is picked over, broken, or in other ways non-functional. One example is a board game which, upon opening the box contained not one piece from the original game it had once held - it was just a box of junk. I guess they don't screen their stuff very well. The parking lot is a bit shady, as well. And I don't mean with trees. Sadly, we had to step over used syringes on the way back to our car.

I saw some cute items for my yard and garden and, even though they're not set up for it, they helped me place an additional order over the phone for more of the items when I realized I had not bought enough. Going so far as to take pictures to show me the assortment they had selected for me. It makes you feel really good to support local businesses who make you feel like a valued customer from the very first moment.
