During my last visit, they had some very pretty sweaters, but this year's style is boxy, which doesn't work for my shape. They have a variety of jeans, a nice selection of winter coats and vests, plus there were holiday dresses and pieces on sale. Make sure to check out the clearance in the far back corner. We got in line and my husband took a picture of our original receipt before we did the return for details on the garments that we purchased. A man in line behind us said something to my husband about why aren't you moving (in the line) and my husband turned around and said I'm taking a a picture and calm down we'll move in a second. The gentleman said oh sorry I didn't know. Well little did we know that a sales associate behind the counter that saw the interaction from a different perspective, thought that we were being rude to the gentleman behind us. So lo and behold we get up to her counter and she cops an attitude from the get go. My husband, who is the nicest person in the world, tries to make conversation with her at which point she turns to us and says I thought you were rude to the gentleman behind you. Mind you the whole time, she is giving us attitude and throwing our garments on the counter. That is when I stepped in and said oh no Liz, you don't get to say that. So here's the reason for my review. As a sales person I get it. You get good and bad customers. By all means Liz, talk to your coworkers after we leave if you think we were that rude to the gentleman behind us. The gentleman and myself and my husband had moved on from the incident, but you decided to make a bigger issue out of it. That is not customer service! That is rude on your end. Your job is to help the customer. Whatever you think of the customer in that setting, you keep it to yourself. Share with your coworkers after we leave. Share with your family when you get home from a long day. But do not tell the customer that they were rude when you did not read the situation correctly! At this point, it will be a very long time before I step back into a Nordstrom rack.

Still fashionable, like the leggings I got eons ago. Their fashions and the quality definitely do withstand the tests of time. I've not tried on their new running shoes as I am loyal to my Hoka brand shoes, but this store has a prominent display of Lululemon athletic sneakers and, if they're anything like the rest of their product line, I'm certain they're of high quality, and they will make sure they fit you properly. The only reason why I'm not giving this store 5 stars is because no-one greeted us or spoke one word to us while we were in the store, despite it not being too busy there when we visited. (Note: this is atypical of Lululemon stores in general. Usually they warmly greet visitors and ask if they can help find anything). Recently, I noticed that the coat was a grayish green on the edge of the sleeve cuff. So I machine washed it in lukewarm water like I had done before. The coat had always come out looking new. This time however the charcoal gray lining bleed onto the entire coat ruining it . I have talked with Molly in customer service and Express is not willing to honor the Guarantee sewn into the label of their product. For mailing back the snow coat they will give me a STORE CREDIT of $29.50. I could not begin to find a coat of this quality for the $139.50 I originally paid let alone anything for $29.50 in STORE CREDIT. This offer is not reasonable! I either want a similar coat or a cash refund for $139.50 . That was what I was told I could expect from a Lifetime guarantee! Every sales associate was essentially hipster scum that felt that only white women in their 40s and up deserved their attention. I almost gagged when this lady asked one of the male sales associates how a dress looked on her, and he just unenthusiastically kissed her ass, "Oh yeah, that shade...uh, really brings out the gorgeous color of your skin." I, on the other hand, just received scathing looks. What, am I too young/ethnic/poor-looking/generally not of the right class? I mean, really, does it take that much to even say hi? I seriously was AVOIDED here... One associate, Marina, purposely avoided me at least three times to assist some other customer (an older white woman, nonetheless). Even the manager on shift (the older gentleman with the gross haircut) first, avoided me, and then gave me a dirty look when I tried to get his attention for assistance. What the hell man? That's just textbook discrimination. The worst thing is, this is the only J Crew I've ever had this experience in. I would say worst retail experience ever...worse than Abercrombie, HO HO!
