Today I bought over 200 dollars worth of stuff hunting clothes which I didnt need help .When I wanted to buy boots not 1 person was back there and tje workers walking around never said 1 word to me..so I decided not to buy boots. I decided to walk back by the guns and not 1 gun guy asked if they could help , I was walking casually looking at the guns. The 1 guy made eye contact with me and walked away. The other gun guys acted like I didn't even exist. They all saw me standing there. As the one guy was talking non sense about a non sense thing. Not 1 person acted like i existed. buckle your seat belt…read more I brought my 7 year old son into the store to buy a baseball bat. They have a cage for you to try out the bats. My son fell in love with one of them. The employee near by said that she could offer me the bat at a discount since there were no others available in the store. She asked her manager. This manager, Brandon, had zero customer service skills. He never said hello to me, didn't make eye contact. He said, "nope you can't buy that because it's probably available online" If this is Dick's policy, okay. It's a stupid one. I may have said, barely above a whisper, "that's bulls**t and you know it." Then he stepped up to my face and began berating me about my parenting skills. What?!? We then went to a nearby dick's and they at least 20 of that bat. (Would have been nice to be told this by instead of "it's probably online") ive worked retail - when you are out of inventory, you can buy the floor model. Further, they had at least 50 youth bats n the cage (all with prices, barcodes, etc) and, get this, 4 youth bats in stock. The policy aside, the rudeness was completely unacceptable. (Btw - here is a picture of the number of bats, same type, at a store 2 miles away.

Just got off of the Maumee River with Hunter, great experience! I opted for a shorter 2 hour trip…read morefor something of a refresher course. Hunter contacted me within a few days of making a deposit and kept in constant contact while waiting out the weather and my work schedule. We met at the selected time and place and after some brief conversation we headed to the river. River fishing is very new to me. We talked how how to wade safely especially on the slippery and muddy conditions and how to safely wade unfamiliar water. We got started by Hunter evaluating my rig then watched my casting offering tips and suggestions throughout. We discussed different methods from streamers to nymphing as well as how to fish riffles or not. All in all I feel I got a tremendous amount of info from an experienced angler that I could ask questions as they came up and not just a YouTube video. The best advice though was to get out and do it! I felt as if I was fishing with my brother! Thanks Hunter!
