We ordered two slices and an order of six knots. She brought the two slices, and I simply asked to confirm if the knots were included in the order. She gave me the nastiest look and said, "I only have two hands, geez." I was honestly taken aback and said, "Whoa, that was rude." When she came back, instead of handing the food to us, she placed the knots on the empty table next to me like we were animals. I was in complete disbelief. She was rude for absolutely no reason. I was just confirming the order. Never again. Just flat out disgusting. Add oregano and maybe even a hint of red pepper. Use tomato paste for the best consistency and it's less expensive than fresh tomato or restaurant depots canned tomato sauce. Mix in some fresh Romano cheese. What I had just tasted like a plain basic red sauce with a dash of heavy cream. The pizza was too doughy--thick crust can be fine...but you have to cook the crust first, then put the sauce/cheese on it and throw it and it'll have a nice crisp. Or make it easy and make it the dough thinner. Finally, Key Lime Pie is one of my favorites...The crust was not good. Graham cracker crust is very easy to make--butter and crushed graham cracker. That type of pie should not have a flour based crust like an apple pie. The filling had way too much lime and sugar. Tone that down a lot and let the flavor of the condensed milk and cream shine through. Leave out whatever that white stuff was on top. I understand that fresh whip cream is impractical and wouldn't hold up too well in the pie fridge. It was maybe cool whip on top--just cut that out. All in all--there's still lot of potential here. The flavor profile needs to be tripled...triple the spices in each dish and get that bold Italian flavor customers love. Forgot the specials menus with 10 items on it...Focus on the dishes people love and order the most and perfect them. Good luck! Service was excellent!

I've been to a lot of pizza places on Long Island, and Matt's Pizza in Coram definitely deserves a spot on the list. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and my order came out fresh and hot. The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with just the right amount of chew, the sauce was flavorful without overpowering the cheese, and the ingredients tasted fresh. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The portions were generous, and the prices were fair for the quality. The restaurant was clean, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable whether you're grabbing a quick slice or sitting down for a meal. It's the kind of neighborhood pizza place you find yourself coming back to. If you're in the Coram area and looking for great pizza with friendly service, Matt's Pizza is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back to try more from their menu! read more

Staff was very rude, I would NEVER eat here again or order from here. Now, let's talk about the pizza. What a letdown! The crust was soggy and undercooked, with a distinct lack of flavor. The toppings seemed haphazardly thrown on, with little attention to balance or quality. It felt like I was eating a cheap frozen pizza from the supermarket, not a freshly made pie from a supposedly reputable pizzeria. To add insult to injury, the prices were outrageous for the subpar quality of the food. It's baffling how they can justify charging so much for such mediocre pizza. Overall, my experience at Matt's Pizzeria was a disappointment, and I would not recommend it to any pizza lover looking for a satisfying slice. Save yourself the disappointment and find another pizzeria that takes pride in their craft. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! The pizza is absolutely phenomenal. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and has just the right chew. The sauce is flavorful and not overpowering, and the toppings are always fresh and generously portioned. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Whether you're dining in or taking it to go, you can count on consistently excellent pizza every time. This is hands-down my favorite pizza spot--I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Yum! Their pizza is to die for. Their crust is crusty, their sauce is saucy, their cheese is cheesy and their service is fantastic! I always ask for extra cheese and boy do they deliver. Their sausage topping is crispy and not oily. And their garlic knots are doughy on the inside and golden crisp on the outside. Delivery is pretty quick too! read more
