Great local pizza joint! The crust has infused baked crunchy crumbs and really ads a nice texture to their pies. Pizza tastes great too. Solid house sauce. Prices are reasonable. Place is down the street from me and the place I go for a Friday night pie or whatever. Just tried their pepperoni roll w/side of marinara and its very good. This place is surprisingly decent. We got a coupon for a free pizza when we moved into the neighborhood so we decided to give it a go. The pizza is decent... they use semolina under and on the crust so it has that extra crunch, the sauce is good and the cheese is not super greasy. They deliver fast and their prices are super reasonable. They don't have alot of choices in toppings, but it is a good option if looking for an affordable, tasty pie. read more

I've been going to Matt's for over a decade and love their pizza. Pleeeeeease though...get a new delivery guy (older guy/black car)!! He is so creepy!! He makes me feel so uncomfortable when he arrives. Yuck. I'd give 5 stars, if not for him. The pizza is just consistently good. And the owner is always so nice. We will NEVER order from Matt's Pizza in Coram again. Our neighbors and us order from Matt's every Friday in addition to special occasions etc. Tonight we ordered for post-trick or treating; we were told it would be 1.5 hours- which we expected. After over 1.5 hours we called and they asked our address and were told it was out for delivery. After waiting an additional 30 min we called again and were told that we never placed an order! They told us some bs excuse that they were so busy and if we placed an order we would have received it.. there was no excuse as to why they originally told us our order left for delivery. We were willing to wait the 1.5 hours however now 2 hrs later = no pizza = 5 hungry kids and pissed parents= the loss of 4 consistent/loyal customers. Owner could have handled this dispute in a much more professional manner and saved long-term customers. I'd rather give my business to Bella Roma, or capios!!!!! read more

Ok so let me start by saying I've grown up on Long Island & my husband in Queens which means we've had pizza from Brooklyn, Manhattan, etc......I say that so you take our opinion seriously. Be very careful when ordering from here because it is ADDICTING!!!! One bite & you're like "Wait.....what? Did I just taste that?...Let me take another bite.....OMG! The whole garlic knot pizza tastes like this??!!!! " Yeah, it's THAT friggin good!! We're currently searching out a self help group on how to get over this addiction. But seriously, it's just incredible. The semolina makes the crust have a crunch & the sauce & cheese is insane. We also had the toasted ravioli & let me save you from thinking about it if you were on the fence .....get it b/c it's INSANE!!! Get a side of sauce too just b/c it's so good. I can only assume the rest of the food there is as awesome so we cannot wait to order other meals. And believe it or not, we are not related to anyone there & have zero stake in this business; we're just people who are getting fatter by the minute b/c of this place. And happy to do so! read more

We just moved into North Isle so figured we had to see if our local pizza place was any good. There pizza sauce is plain and just OK but I was still happy with the pizza overall. I had a white slice which was awesome! The man behind the counter was super friendly and wanted to ensure we didn't want too long for our food. Their prices are AMAZING! Specialty pies for $13.99?! We got 6 garlic knots, a sicilian slice, a regular slice, a white slice, a cheeseburger dinner (which came with fries and a drink) and a large soda for under $18! read more

My wife and I have been patronizing this establishment exclusively for five years. Until today we had no complaints about the service. My wife enjoys vegetable heroes, and we've never had a problem with Matt's making one for her until today. An employee who answered the phone (claiming to be the owner and head cook) not only refused to make the special sandwich, but came just short of calling my wife a liar that she'd ever had such a sandwich made there- despite the fact that she's ordered them several times before with no problems. We are no longer giving this man our money. The restaurant only earned two stars solely because of the delivery man, CJ, who is the nicest man on the face of the earth, and my only regret is that he won't be getting our tips anymore. Tried several pizza places around our neighborhood, one place keeps changing names and the pizza went downhill, the other place has a great pie, but doesn't make a medium sized pie. So we tried Matts, Great pie, good sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Not greasy or mushy. Nice crispy crust, never got one with burnt semolina or ketchup like sauce, on it like the other reviewer-don't know where she ate-maybe she's a disgruntled person, cause we have been getting pizza from Matts for several months now and never had an issue with a burnt pie or burnt semolina or nasty cheese. Its not semolina anyway-but won't let out their secret. Anyway, always a hot and tasty pie and nice people. read more

I love Matt's Pizza! I've used them several times to cater a last minute dinner party (literally like an hour before) with my in laws by getting a half tray of chicken francaise, my favorite. It is always accompanied by extra sauce so I can make my own noodles as well as a tray of nice warm fresh bread. In addition, their pizza is great! The crust is just the best! Love them!
