He didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bed that would be rarely used, so he was reluctant to go to a mattress store, thinking he would be pressured into buying a high end mattress that would cost him a lot of money. Well, it turns out he had nothing to worry about as we ran into a great salesman named Saber, who had met my father in law (FIL) a few days earlier when he was starting his search for a mattress. Saber immediately remember my FIL and welcomed all of us with a warm greeting. Saber was literally heading out the door for the evening, but stayed late to help out a customer he clearly cared about. After some pleasantries were exchanged, we got down to business and Saber did not try to upsell an expensive mattress, knowing this was for a spare bedroom, he showed us a couple of sets that were in the price range we were looking for. Within a few minutes the deal was done and everyone was very happy. My FIL is the old school type of person who needs to feel like he got a good deal and likes to be treated the way a customer should, and Saber accomplished all of those goals. The store was very quiet and I talked with another salesman who was working with Saber, and he too was a very nice person and I enjoyed talking with him. Clearly, whoever does the hiring at this location has picked at least two excellent employees and they both do a great job of making customers feel at home and welcomed to the store. I had been waking up with debilitating back & hip pain for months, waking up unable to walk for…read moreabout 30 minutes. The only way to avoid waking up this way was to sleep with a pillow under my lower back & hips. My Hybrid mattress was at least 8 years and despite it "feeling" nice, it clearly was not giving me the support I needed. I had planned on going to chain retail stores like I had always done but discovered there was a local mattress store called The Mattress Connection very close to my house. After reading the phenomenal reviews online, I decided to check it out. I met Edrees on Sunday and explained the pain I was experiencing, and the condition of my Hybrid mattress and I told him that I needed a firmer mattress but with some softness due to my arthritis. The store had newer versions of my current mattress - firm and soft. Edrees explained that you need to take time and relax when trying mattresses to truly see how your body feels/reacts when lying on it. His approach is like that of eye doctors - option 1 or 2. What I loved most about Edrees is that he's not a salesman; He's an educator on how to get better sleep! He is extremely attentive, telling you not to think and instead feel how your body reacts to each mattress. While pulling information about how you feel, he explains things such as how a firm bed does not automatically mean that you'll have proper alignment. This allows you to better understand what your body tells you when you lie down. He will ask if you have a budget, but I can't encourage you enough not to let your budget guide you. Let your body decide what bed works best. He explained that when we find the right bed, if it wasn't in my budget, we could find something similar that was in my price range. I tried nearly every bed in the store, from the cheapest to the most expensive and my body decided that both were not the mattress for me. Most people think that a more expensive mattress means that it's better - it's not true! I tried a $6,000 mattress and I immediately knew that it wasn't for me based on the feel. During the process, I explained to Edrees that I was also going to check out SleepNumber as my rheumatologist suggested I try it because I could adjust the softness/firmness as needed for my arthritis. He encouraged me to go and try it! He said that while he stands 100% behind all of his mattresses and his mattress selection process, he wants me to also feel 100% confident in my decision. This is the type of service I value! Someone that isn't trying to just make a sale but instead takes time with you and is visibly invested in finding what's best for you. I went to SleepNumber on Wednesday, tried all the mattresses with the same approach (bed 1 or bed 2) and chose one. After I sat with the sales rep while he wrote up an estimate, I decided to spend 10 more minutes on the bed chose. It was then that I realized that it was not the bed for me. So, I went back and tried the other bed that I thought could work. I was so happy that I tried them again because I would have wasted nearly $5,000 on a mattress that would have caused me pain. I immediately drove back to Mattress Connection and I asked Edrees if I could lie back down on the bed I chose on Sunday. He encouraged me to do so - and I realized that it might be too soft. I asked if I could try one that was a bit firmer. He encouraged me to take the time that I need and pointed me to a bed that I had tried on Sunday. After spending 10 minutes lying on it, I asked if there was a bed sort of between to two. He pointed me to another bed that I had previously tried. I spent the next bit of time spending about 10 minutes on each bed eliminating them one by one. I ended up purchasing the third bed because the mattress was supportive for proper alignment but had some pillowtop to avoid pain on my joints. After trusting Edrees and his process of elimination, I bought the best mattress for my body and to my surprise ended up spending less money than I had budgeted! If you are in the market for a new mattress, I highly recommend Edrees and The Mattress Connection - you won't regret it!

I love my mattress and was given a pretty good deal on it..... but getting it and the box springs…read morewithout incident is a whole episode like in a soap opera. First off my first of (4) yes I said (4) deliveries went like this. Oct 4th, 2021 the delivery team came to take away my old mattress and box springs. Mind you the first red flag was they did not wear masks or boot coverings which I thought was the norm now. Unless the owner (me) tells them it's ok. But I let that slide because I was just happy to finally be getting a new mattress after having my old one for longer than I should. (I want give the years...lol but it's been a long time coming). So they take the old one out and bring the next box springs up first. That's when I seen the first of the issues which was some torn areas (pics included) on the box springs. So I ask that needs to be replaced so I called the store back. I got a female sales associate who said that I had to first refuse them and they would have to bring back up my old box springs. Now I live in a 3-story townhome so that's about 50-plus stairs and the delivery guys was already looking worn out. Then one of them was saying that I can keep those torn ones and they will still be replaced. I had the mattress firm associates on speaker and she was saying no they being lazy and that I would have to pay a $99 restocking fee if I didn't send the torn "new" box springs back. So there was a lot of back and forth between them which I thought was unprofessional AF. So I got off the phone with her and I was assured by the delivery guy after they called their warehouse manager that I would get a call in the next few days to set up the exchange. So I was like ok I'm believing you over the sales associate. As you guess that call never came. So I called mattress firm about a week or so later and explained about the box springs he quickly set up a delivery date for them to bring me some new ones. So a few days later the (2nd) delivery team came out and when they flipped the mattress over to get the box sprigs that's when we seen the extra big whole in the box of the mattress now!! (Pics included). I was like you have got to be kidding me! So for a 3rd time I had to call mattress firm and send pictures of the damaged mattress. The sales associate got me another delivery date (delivery #3). Delivery #3 comes around where I basically waited up all day after working the entire night shift before they came in flipped the mattress over and was looking confused. They called their manager and was told they couldn't take the mattress because of the damage they could be charged for it. I'm confused because that's the reason why you are here is to make a replacement. So AGAIN I had to call mattress firm for hell I don't lost count...3/4th time and tell them what happened. They going to tell me someone didn't put what the delivery was about in the paperwork so the warehouse workers would know there was a defect in the mattress. Really!?! This is getting entirely ridiculous!! So finally delivery #4 Nov 8th over a month since the first delivery guys came out came and went without a hitch. I say all this and gave them a 2-star because this is just unacceptable! Fussing in front of customers, no communication between the store and the warehouse on what to tell customers when there is an issue with a product, and just the numerous times you had to come out wasting my time. I would not recommend them to anyone. Mattress is good FINALLY but never again will they get my service unless they given out really good discount ls!

We were greeted by both Vince and John but John was the one who broke down the layout of the store and gave is the "3 Little Bear" test to make sure we found the comfort we needed. Ultimately we decided on the Purple 4 mattress and decided to do the 90 day same as cash financing, we didn't intend on spending more than a certain amount and the mattress was above our limit, but both Vince and John went above and beyond to make sure we walked out with what we desired. My one star deduction comes from two things. One, the day of delivery, there was a box spring (split King) missing, which was fine because we had a foundation from our old mattress that worked just fine and it gave me time to do research (but still, one and done would have been nice). Which brings me to my second reason, which may be no fault of John or Vince. The Purple mattress cannot be used with a box spring, it voids the warranty, a box foundation is fine but nothing with springs. Which I found online and had to call and let John know. Even still, he was very accommodating and made sure to call the Purple rep to confirm and made sure we had the right foundation. Overall the experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good, quality mattress. There's something for everyone and they'll get you taken care of.

Googled and found Mattress Mike which was near me and didn't know existed. Took a chance and decided to drop by in person to see what was available which was on a Saturday. I found a nice three piece set: couch, loveseat, and chair that was available. Decided to check another place and found the same set for slightly cheaper. Came back to talk with Alberto (who was super nice and worked with me patiently) on comparing prices. He was able to match for the cheaper price if I was able to buy that set that day or next day and get delivery by Monday. I went ahead and got it. Fast forward to Monday. I got a call from Alberto saying their delivery guys could only find two of the three pieces for my order to deliver. I could get a black/white set (in picture below) or try another set that was similar at no additional charge since their was an error on the factory end. He sent a text with the picture of the available option which I also really liked and I decided to go with it. They delivered it by 4pm on Monday. Delivery guys were super fast and polite. He showed me different mattresses until I found one that suited my needs and my price range. I needed something firm but not too firm, I cant do memory foam (back problems) so he recommended something in between. I knew it was the right mattress from the moment I layed down on it. Firm but not to firm, soft but not too soft. Navid was very helpful and also hooked up the delivery, I was unable to make the first date so the dispatch was able to fit me in 2 days later with a 3hr window.
