Don't go there, don't buy mattress there. First they don't open on time. We went there twice, twice there was a note - be back at 11 am. So stores hours they don't respect their own hours. Second, if you buy a mattress there and you are not satisfied with it. You don't get your money back, they obliged you to keep and try for 30 days than you can exchange. And third, agent Candy at that store don't care about client who arrived first get serve first. No no . We waited 20 minutes because the note at the door, we tried a few beds than she just continued with a another client that came 20 minutes after us and took her order while we waited. This business and that agent is not customer oriented but more MONEY oriented. That is why I am taking the time to tell you - don't buy there. read more

On President's Day weekend my wife and I went to Mattress Firm and was greeted by Tryone Kelly. He was nice, genuine, polite, conversational, and pleasant to talk to. Tryone presented the mattresses he had and did not try and force us into any decision. While he is clearly a sales person, he respected our decision to shop around. He let us know he was interested in having our business and hoped he would see us again. After looking around we didnt find a mattress as comfortable and the Serta iDirection X1 for the price we were offered. We got a great deal, which included delivery, frames, and set up. My husband and I began our search for a new mattress one year ago with Tyrone at Mattress Warehouse. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. We completed the sleep test which revealed that a Tempur-Pedic was best for us. We put off our purchase until our backs could no longer take our old mattress a couple of weeks ago. What a wonderful experience. My wife son and I were looking for a mattress and this place not only met but exceeded my expectations

First off, I find it humorous that the previous reviewers only have 3 total reviews between them, all (conveniently) for this establishment. Mattress showrooms are a competitive business and often clustered around each other so let's hope Yelpers figure out that these are fake reviews from competitors. I am an actual consumer with a new house and need for a king bed set so I can offer a legitimate review of this store. It was the second showroom I stopped at during a day where I just wanted to lay on some mattresses to determine which one I would end up purchasing. My experience with Alex, the sales rep, couldn't have been more pleasant. Not only was he extremely knowledgable about the products, he had no high pressure pitch to force me into walking out of the store with some products before I was ready to make a decision. He took his time with me and thoroughly explained how each mattress was different and showed me all of the different price point options. There is no "upsell" with mattress purchases, the construction dictates the price points and there is a reason why the range extends from a few hundred bucks to a few thousand. The floor was busy with sales reps that all understood these differences and allowed the customer to eliminate mattresses that would not work for them. I ended up spending close to an hour in the store and like any business of expensive products, the best way to get the most bang for your buck is to take advantage of the current sales in the store and negotiate for additional accessories that can be bundled for an overall discount. Buying the mattress is the centerpiece of the deal of course, but the sales reps will work with you to discuss the other products they sell in their store which leads to things like free shipping and mattress protection plans that add up to hundreds of dollars of savings. I like to shop around so I even found a lower price online for the mattress I was interested in, however the sales rep and I walk through all of the "hidden" fees the online deal made the customer responsible for and it added up to much more than the price for all of the items I wanted to purchase in the store. I would recommend Mattress Warehouse for anybody in the area looking to buy a new mattress set and other bedroom furniture. Please check my other Yelp reviews to see that I am a reliable poster on here, not some internet troll. I honestly felt bad for Alex and his sales team since the previous reviewers can't be more off base and I read those reviews before going to the store. He was very informative and helpful in the decision making process and didn't push certain mattresses due to price, he wanted to find which one was best for us. Stopped by today to pick out a bed. My experience was similar to Jordan's. Apparently, the first reviewer (Lauren) likely works for one of the other mattress stores in the area and thought it was cool to post a slam in an effort to promote her business. I actually met with Alex, and the entire experience was great. There was no pressure, and he was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable about the products, and definitely made great sales pitches for each. When it came time to check out, I actually overlooked the total and would have paid several hundred dollars more if Alex hadn't gone through everything with me one more time and caught the error. It spoke volumes about his honesty and ethics, because I just as easily could have walked out of there, not having realized. They have a great line of products across several pricing scales, so you'll get a pretty accurate baseline as soon as you walk in, and you can work your way up from there if you need to. Overall pleasant experience, in and out in about an hour, and excited to get my new bed this coming Saturday. Wayne was very helpful, they have a pretty wide selection of mattresses to choose from, from luxurious to ergo to basic. They even have a crazy machine that you lay on that "detects" your pressure points when you lay down to help find the perfect mattress. The staff was also very kind and helpful with my two year old toddler who was running a muck the whole time we were making our purchase. By the time we made our decision, with Wayne's help we were confident that we had made the right choice. I'm glad we went here. read more

Updating this review since they fake responded like they "care" to me below- I emailed the corporate email below as they requested with all of my contact details and a copy of the receipt and all details as they asked. I've still not heard anything as of this update. I had asked them to cancel the sale, two times now. There's $529.99 that they've taken out of my bank account for this purchase, and I had to call my bank to dispute this. Mastercard allows the merchant up to 60 days to respond which means that they can hold on to my $529.99 as long as they'd like. Thankfully I'm OK and don't need that money today but I'm sure there's folks out here who'd have a hard time without access to those funds. #sad #badservice read more

The sales men are like used car sales men. They will tell you ANYTHING just to close the deal. I bought a $1500 plus mattress with all these free things I didnt know. Was suppose to be delivered the following Saturday when I didnt get a call by 5pm that saturday, I called the store to cancel, and was told over the phone I could not cancel because all sales are final, but the day I ordered it I was told I could cancel up untill the sales date. I went to the store that same day and the sales manager (whom sold me the mattress) ran to the back as I walked. the other rep told me he was on a break. Just totally got the run around. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! I'd like to echo the previous review. This place is awful. The manager seems nice at first but it is all downhill from there. After visiting the store, I called to get information on a particular bed. I spoke with an incredibly rude sales associate who quoted me the price on a completely different bed than the one I had asked for. I explained to him the exact bed I had seen in their store including the model, after which he told me that just because I had seen the bed on the store floor did not mean that I could buy that model. I believe his exact words were something like, "we don't have that bed, yeah it is on the floor but that doesn't mean you can order it." Naturally, that makes no sense. Two weeks of research later, I looked at my husband and said "we're going to stores". 36 hours later and we have a new king sized hybrid, new frame, new box springs, and a bed for the teenager, all under budget and on time. When I went there I was desperate to find a new mattress. I heard about them on the radio and that they had a mattress finding technology. I talked to Chris, he set up the "mattress finding computer" and after it printed out my recommendation, he showed me around. He was really considered, asked me about my price range and took his time to give me the best available option, since I needed the mattress ASAP. I was having my cousin and 3 sons come over with little notice and I did not want to put them on a blow up mattress so I went to Mattress Warehouse. I already had a set amount I was not going to go over and Nuwan showed me mattress of high quality brands which was good but did not really need a high quality brand for a guest room. He showed me a mattress in the back that was a clearance price, it was original a $3000 mattress and I got it for $750. One of the worst experiences I've had with a company. At first glance the sales representative was very forthright, upfront and genuinely interested in our needs. We went from a $2400 mattress to being sold on a nearly $6000 set which included an adjustable frame. The representative assured us the frame would match our bed (a standard king) and there wouldn't be a problem, even if we had slats vs solid base. After paying the total we scheduled the delivery for a week later - no problem. Upon the mattress set being delivered the installation techs said our bed frame wouldn't be able to accommodate an adjustable frame because we had slats and not a solid base. We called the store to find out what happened after being assured it would fit our bed (regardless of base type) and then the salesman told us we would have to buy a more expensive one, for an extra $800 so it would fit our bed frame, even though we were told the one we already had purchased would fit the frame (and it didn't). I declined to accept the adjustable bed and was told our money would be refunded within a 2-3 day period... flash forward 32 days and we still haven't received our refund and they keep stringing us along saying the payment will be processed 'soon'. This company and their employees are a bunch of thieves and crooks. Avoid at all costs. Woodbridge location is terrible. read more

Did you finance this mattress? If so, I suggest you submitt a claim with the bank. Let them know you are not satisfied with the product and service. Best of all, submitt the receipt where it shows that you or your husband did not sign for the delivery receipt. I am updating my YELP review of this particular store for business/financial reasons. I still find the bed I purchased there to be fantastic. Unfortunately it is the manner in which both sales people discussed the Price Match policy with my boyfriend and I that is prompting this new poor rating . The store manager distinctly told my boyfriend and I that if we found a lower price for the mattress itself (not including the box spring and 2 pillows he offered for free as part of this purchase) that he would price match it . Well I found 2 lower prices from 2 different companies and was issued a credit. Then today the store manager called to tell me that the. credit would not be honored. To make matters worse he told me he never said anything about price matching the cost of my mattress . My boyfriend and I both distinctly recall him saying those words to us. I am so disappointed in both salesmen at this store. It is such poor business to be treated in such a manner. I no longer recommend this Mattress Warehouse to anyone!!! read more

Please stay away from this store and Company. The manager there Ray is the biggest Jerk! Come to find out that the entire company is the worst, they have no clue what customer service is all about and will lie and tell you what you want to hear just to make a sale! We went into this store in Woodbridge last week to purchase a mattress, we ending up getting one that was over $1300.00, we did try the mattress floor samples they had and we like it and told us they can deliver it the following day! At start he sounded very honest and that he was looking out for our best interest, he showed us binders of reviews on other mattress stores, such as mattress discounters, sleeps ..etc...and went on and on how wonderful MW is and how mattress that are returned/exchanged become floor samples or models and when sold the customer are aware of that. Well, the following day we got our mattress, my husband and I were both at work I had someone there to receive the mattress when delivered on that night at 9pm I went to look at the mattress and it was not the same we had bought or picked while in the store..this Mattress was huge and not at all the same comfort . I called the following day and the manger was off, they told me no one can help me but him...I called the day after and I did get hold of the store manager.."RAY", he basically told me the don't return or exchange and I was out of luck and it was not his problem. He told me that me spending over $1300 and expecting comfort was not his problem. I told him that I was going to call his supervisor and report him..he laughed and said...please do, I'm worth more to him than any customer..but give him a call! Well I did, and I guess that 500 pound jerk, Ray was right..left his supervisor John 3 voice mails and he did not bother to call back once. I'm going to law suit aging them...I threw $1300.00 in the trash and I don't mind throwing another $1300.00 to get justice. I have been sleeping on the floor since we got it since I it's causing me major hip and back pain. If you want bad service, waste your money and be in pain than..Mattress Warehouse is the plaice for you to go get trashed.. One last note....I told him that I'm ofter in that shopping center and I will let ppl know that you guys have the worst service and that you don't disclose that you don't' have exchanges or return policy to anyone..the only it's mentioned is on the back of the receipt after the items have been purchased , paid and signed for. the manager said" come near my store and I will call the police and remember that I have your address, know where you live)!!! I've been sleeping comfortably on my mattress since June 2016 and could not be more pleased with my improved quality of sleep and comfort. It really is the best investment I've made in a while! The sales process was... Interesting. Not bad interesting just not as straightforward as I would have liked. Carl helped me with the sale and he sort of gave me the runaround the store before letting me try the mattress I'd been describing all along. I don't know if that was his tactic because it worked, but it could've been a shorter process had he let me try that mattress first or second, not after almost 40 minutes of being there. Anyway, I did find the perfect mattress and he threw in 2 free pillows, the ones I used to test the mattress. That was a nice touch! The entire sales team - Carl, Nuwan & Chris - work really well together from the initial intake (the warm greeting and getting set up on the computer to learn your sleep style) to the financing to the actual sale. Interesting...the reviewers complaining about "negative" reviews being from competitors...clearly the "positive" reviews are from relatives/friends. Here was my non-affiliated, actual customer experience: Bought a $2000+ mattress, and it was roasting hot (memory foam is horrendous stuff, I've discovered), so I wanted to return it. Got the "no return policy" line. After going around and around with the manager about the mattress MANUFACTURER'S warranty/satisfaction/return policy, he finally agreed to honor it and allow a return...with a $199 restocking fee. Fine. But then they wanted to charge me for all the "free" things that they originally included with the mattress (and that I wanted to return as well: box springs, frame, and crappy pillows and mattress cover that I'd never used and were still in their original packaging). By the time everything was totaled up (and the "price" for each item was absolutely exorbitant, of course), I would have had less than $900 to spend on another mattress. What a load of crock. Decided to just keep the friggen mattress and turn on the ac...in the middle of January. Oh, and ladies...the male sales associates can be awfully touchy-feely while you're testing out the mattresses in the store. The guy I had said he was demonstrating how the mattress was conforming to my body, which didn't bother me at the time because he was seemingly so knowledgeable and friendly...but after the negative "return" experience (funny how they're a complete 180 from friendly then), I'm now thinking he was just trying to feel me up. I went to Mattress Discounters in Woodbridge Virginia for my mattress & base after ruling out 5 other stores in Woodbridge. I dealt with Jose. I wanted to make sure I got the right mattress this time, so I spent 2 hours there looking at memory foam mattresses. Jose helped during that time. Jose helped me decide, by giving me details about each mattress, on a Tempur-Pedic Cloud Luxe with advanced adjustable bed base. I have medical problems (bad shoulders & Gird). This system seems to solve them. I used to spend half the night in a recliner, when my stomach or shoulders would act up. I am very pleased with Tempur-Pedic (except for high price) and Jose, my salesman, who allowed me to make an informed decision. The delivery was good except they did not attach the front bracket on the base to allow the unit to be attached physically to my oak bed. read more

I read the reviews online and did some initial research before visiting your Woodbridge, VA location. Upon my arrival in the store, Adam greeted me and my sons. He interviewed us to determine our needs and encouraged my son to try various mattresses, to find the right fit and feel. Once we decided on an item, Adam processed my order and scheduled my delivery for Sunday, 2/4. After I left the store, I realized that he had taken down the address incorrectly. I went back into the store, which was inconvenient for me, and talked with the manager. I was told that he couldn't guarantee a Sunday delivery date as promised and paid for, but they would do their best. To my surprise, the box set that I purchased was delivered on Sunday, but the set was delivered with no frame. Adam did a poor job of completely identifying my needs and never asked about a frame. Now I have a bed without a frame. When we called to inquire about this, we were told a frame could be sold to us for an additional fee. I would not recommend this location to any of my family and friends. read more
