I love my mattress and was given a pretty good deal on it..... but getting it and the box springs…read morewithout incident is a whole episode like in a soap opera. First off my first of (4) yes I said (4) deliveries went like this. Oct 4th, 2021 the delivery team came to take away my old mattress and box springs. Mind you the first red flag was they did not wear masks or boot coverings which I thought was the norm now. Unless the owner (me) tells them it's ok. But I let that slide because I was just happy to finally be getting a new mattress after having my old one for longer than I should. (I want give the years...lol but it's been a long time coming). So they take the old one out and bring the next box springs up first. That's when I seen the first of the issues which was some torn areas (pics included) on the box springs. So I ask that needs to be replaced so I called the store back. I got a female sales associate who said that I had to first refuse them and they would have to bring back up my old box springs. Now I live in a 3-story townhome so that's about 50-plus stairs and the delivery guys was already looking worn out. Then one of them was saying that I can keep those torn ones and they will still be replaced. I had the mattress firm associates on speaker and she was saying no they being lazy and that I would have to pay a $99 restocking fee if I didn't send the torn "new" box springs back. So there was a lot of back and forth between them which I thought was unprofessional AF. So I got off the phone with her and I was assured by the delivery guy after they called their warehouse manager that I would get a call in the next few days to set up the exchange. So I was like ok I'm believing you over the sales associate. As you guess that call never came. So I called mattress firm about a week or so later and explained about the box springs he quickly set up a delivery date for them to bring me some new ones. So a few days later the (2nd) delivery team came out and when they flipped the mattress over to get the box sprigs that's when we seen the extra big whole in the box of the mattress now!! (Pics included). I was like you have got to be kidding me! So for a 3rd time I had to call mattress firm and send pictures of the damaged mattress. The sales associate got me another delivery date (delivery #3). Delivery #3 comes around where I basically waited up all day after working the entire night shift before they came in flipped the mattress over and was looking confused. They called their manager and was told they couldn't take the mattress because of the damage they could be charged for it. I'm confused because that's the reason why you are here is to make a replacement. So AGAIN I had to call mattress firm for hell I don't lost count...3/4th time and tell them what happened. They going to tell me someone didn't put what the delivery was about in the paperwork so the warehouse workers would know there was a defect in the mattress. Really!?! This is getting entirely ridiculous!! So finally delivery #4 Nov 8th over a month since the first delivery guys came out came and went without a hitch. I say all this and gave them a 2-star because this is just unacceptable! Fussing in front of customers, no communication between the store and the warehouse on what to tell customers when there is an issue with a product, and just the numerous times you had to come out wasting my time. I would not recommend them to anyone. Mattress is good FINALLY but never again will they get my service unless they given out really good discount ls!

I ordered a queen sized bed and box spring. We did tell him a budget and he offered something WAY over it but was honest about the quality. He even threw in two body pillows for us. Eric was really great. Delivery went very smooth and the delivery guys were pleasant Only issue I have is they give you a pretty large window for delivery. ex 2-4 then they only call you 10 minutes before they are going to pull up. Overall I am happy and would definitely work with this location again.

Spent over $4,000 on an adjustable Posture Pedic mattress and base unit. The salesman said it was due to being stored in an upright position and it would flatten out in a short matter of time. Six months later the lumps are still there and the base which elevates the bed has quit working. Contacted the store. Salesman said contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer verbally stated they do not do business with Mattress Firm. I call the store again, the salesman directs me to file a claim online. Online response from Mattress Firm (after uploading images of the receipt and bed), we don't cover the base unit, contact the manufacturer. The point of this was to accommodate my wife's bad back now I'm stuck with a $4,000 worthless lumpy mattress and defective base that won't elevate. NEVER, I repeat NEVER AGAIN!

I actually met with Alex, and the entire experience was great. There was no pressure, and he was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable about the products, and definitely made great sales pitches for each. When it came time to check out, I actually overlooked the total and would have paid several hundred dollars more if Alex hadn't gone through everything with me one more time and caught the error. It spoke volumes about his honesty and ethics, because I just as easily could have walked out of there, not having realized. They have a great line of products across several pricing scales, so you'll get a pretty accurate baseline as soon as you walk in, and you can work your way up from there if you need to. Overall pleasant experience, in and out in about an hour, and excited to get my new bed this coming Saturday. I had an excellent experience at the Mattress Firm at Dillingham Square. I had decided to buy a new…read moremattress over the Labor Day weekend since all the stores were having all the sales. I had decided to do the impossible in Mattress shopping which was comparison shopping. That is almost impossible to do since all the different stores have the same mattress but with different names. I had been to several different stores to try out beds and I tell you I hated it, at almost all the other stores I went to I was greeted by the used cars salesmen type, the constant hard press and nagging, and down sales to get me to buy a mattress before I left the stores. One store who's name I shall not mention here I didn't think I would ever get out of, the sales person just kept on with the what can I do to get you to buy this mattress right now sort of thing. So I had finally identified the bed I wanted or I should say the Beauty rest line I wanted and the features and price range I wanted so I started going back through the stores trying to find the same mattress with different names at each of the stores and geared up to go to war at the negotiating table to get the best price I could. So imagine my surprise after going to a few stores and negotiating the best price I could get I walk into Mattress Firm and there was no haggle, no hard press, no used car salesman's tactics whatsoever with Jose Alverez. I had all my comebacks and one liners to use while negotiating just wasted here, it was the easiest experience when making a large purchase ever. We just started talking, I told him I knew exactly what I wanted in the line and features, but was open to other options if had any, and he informed me that they didn't carry the line but had the next line up in features and said this would be the one your looking for in the next line up with eve more features. I hadn't done any research on this line cause it was well out of my price range, but I laid down on it and was like yeah this is even better than the bed I chosen then confirmed by looking at the price tag that yes indeed it was way out of my price range. He then asked two questions, "What is my range", and "What was the prices getting at the other stores for the lower line bed I had selected". I answered both questions and he said "Let me see what I can do" and walked back to his desk... That was it, no haggle, no hard press, no attempt to get my budgeted price up with the ol I can go down a little but you need to come up a lot bit, just "Let me see what I can do". He came back and said we can do this set in your price range for this amount and I was floored, and was immediately like Yes lets do that then. That was the extent of the negotiating if you wanna call it that, it was the easiest great deal I have ever gotten in a purchase and let me tell you it was a great deal without doubt. I got the bed I wanted in the next line up with more features than the one I chosen that was way way out of my price range for within my price range and on top of that he also gave me a deal on a pillow I wanted to try and the split box springs. I'm telling you it was the easiest experience ever, I had gone into every mattress store when I was ready to buy expecting a fight with my chest all puffed out and Jose just blew all the wind out of my sails, the negotiation literally took place in a matter of a minute while I was still lying down and enjoying the mattress lol. The sales person i worked with (Wayne Chen) was fantastic. The DM he spoke to (I dont know his…read morename) however was terrible. The DM told the sales person that it was ok to give me free shipping on my mattress order (i was with the sales person when he made the call). Wayne told the DM on the phone that he would call him back in a few minutes to complete the transaction and take the shipping fee off. After i agreed to the pricing and free shipping we went through the finance process and got approved and the final step was to have the DM that Wayne spoke to earlier to remove the shipping fee. Well he went missing and could not be reached. And when Wayne contacted another manager/DM by phone he was told that he could not give free shipping. So now the sales person was caught in the middle and he was saying that i would have to pay for the shipping or cancel the whole order. I could see that Wayne was frustrated with the DM and so was I. We just spent 20 minutes setting up the order and applying for finance and now the DM would not agree to free shipping even though that was the original offer. In the end the Wayne said he could split the cost of the shipping with me since it would come out of his pocket. So he paid $50 and I paid $50. I was not happy that the DM changed their mind after we moved forward with the purchase. Not a great experience. Wayne was great and was patient but whoever the DM is, he was terrible and i felt like the DM scammed me and Wayne into paying for shipping for the purchase by saying he would give free shipping and then changing his mind after i applied and got the finance. I will think twice before coming back again and tell my friends about my experience. Wayne was great though and that is why i completed my transaction. Wayne and i split the shipping cost or else i would have to cancel my order and not have a bed for my Mother.
