We stopped in this location this afternoon to see if we could find a bed for my father in law's spare bedroom. He didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bed that would be rarely used, so he was reluctant to go to a mattress store, thinking he would be pressured into buying a high end mattress that would cost him a lot of money. Well, it turns out he had nothing to worry about as we ran into a great salesman named Saber, who had met my father in law (FIL) a few days earlier when he was starting his search for a mattress. Saber immediately remember my FIL and welcomed all of us with a warm greeting. Saber was literally heading out the door for the evening, but stayed late to help out a customer he clearly cared about. After some pleasantries were exchanged, we got down to business and Saber did not try to upsell an expensive mattress, knowing this was for a spare bedroom, he showed us a couple of sets that were in the price range we were looking for. Within a few minutes the deal was done and everyone was very happy. My FIL is the old school type of person who needs to feel like he got a good deal and likes to be treated the way a customer should, and Saber accomplished all of those goals. The store was very quiet and I talked with another salesman who was working with Saber, and he too was a very nice person and I enjoyed talking with him. Clearly, whoever does the hiring at this location has picked at least two excellent employees and they both do a great job of making customers feel at home and welcomed to the store. Saber did a great job with the pricing and delivery and we look forward to the new bed arriving in a few days. My mother and I went to Mattress Warehouse and we had the best mattress purchasing experience. We entered and Alex greated us with pleasant professionalism. We began asking about the more reasonably priced items, we told Alex we did not want to waste his time. Alex showed us all of the options in our price range, and was not pushy. When we began to ask about other, mid-ranged priced sets, Alex was knowdgeable of the great features. We spent over an hour laying on mattress sets and found the perfect set in the price range we were confortable with. We never felt pushed or forced into making an expensive purchase. We highly recommend going to see Alex specifically if you are in the market for a mattress set. When we need to make another purchase, we will visit Mattress Warehouse. read more

came in and told the salesperson I have a very tight stair hallway and that I couldn't get a queen foundation up there. So he said try it and I'll get my money back if doesn't fit. So the delivery team came in and said right away it wouldn't fit. So I called the salesperson and he said he had special movers that could get it up the steps but that I had to pay them cash then he said don't worry he'd pay, he just wants me to be a repeat customer. So I said okay. They redelivered the mattress but these people damaged are hardwood floors. So I called him again and he told us to contact customer service. Customer service said I could not return base so I'm stuck with a base that was never taken out of box and cannot be used and out of over $1500. I'm sure this place is a good company based on other reviews but I got screwed over big time and the owner refuses to take my call to try to make things right. And now I have a damaged hardwood. I'm now going to have to look into legal action which is very unfortunate because of a salesperson who was insistent on having the mattress delivered up my hallway twice after I told him I didn't want the floor damaged and I knew things wouldn't turn out right and I can't get a refund even though it was not even taken out of box. read more

We returned to Mattress Warehouse yesterday to select a mattress that was more suited to our back problem so we could initiate the Comfort Exchange. After about an hour and a half of trying mattresses again we decided to go with a Tempur-Pedic mattress (we wanted to make sure we got it right this time). The Sterns and Foster mattress is a nice mattress but it is just too firm for us, but it might be great for someone else. Alex was very helpful as always. He is always friendly and goes out of his way to provide great customer service. In addition, we'd like to thank Alex's Supervisor for clarifying the Comfort Exchange delivery issue. We definitely like the customer service we get from Alex at this store and will recommend it to others. read more

It's a "warehouse" so delivery was fast and easy but beware if you need to exchange something. They delivered an adjustable bed to us and it broke on the first try (we never slept on it). I called the same day thinking they would go back to the "warehouse" and exchange it. After multiple calls to the manufacturer and the store they said it would be 4-6 weeks. The return policy is 30 days. This is not what customer satisfaction is about. read more

I visited this location and found the staff downright insulting. I went in looking to replace my aging mattress. I explained to the guy working at the Dumfries Mattress Warehouse that I was interested in seeing the new foam mattresses. I informed him that I was interested in seeing what was available. He proceeded to take me into the dimly lit back room and showed me a bed that was buried beneath a pile of mattresses. When asked why this bed was not in the showroom he asked me why he would put a mattress of lower quality in the showroom. He proceeded to tell me that the bed was only "good for kids and guests," At this point I decided it was time to move on. Because I did not jump at the most expensive model I was taken into the back room and shown what the salesmen viewed as inferior. No one should be treated like that. The act of asking to see all of the options should not get you relegated to the back room. read more
