This was our first time at the location. And We live in Philadelphia and took their long drive. We Was going to another store but could not find Nothing. I was very upset that we couldn't find anything. The store that we went to i'm not gonna mention the name but they need to close it down. So I mentioned Ashley Furniture. So my husband decided to look the address up and this is how we found this location. My niece had her three sons and her friend. With us You told her just to walk around and find something that she might like. The person at the door name was Abigail. She was very pleasant and welcoming to their store. She told. Us about different items to look for in the store and ask us question about what she needed. They even tried the matters that goes up and down , which was wonderful. Then my niece walked up to these beautiful couches. And set down and said this is the one. She didn't hit the change the color because she loved the color of the couch. So abigail went to write up the Sell slit. Then her manager told her about getting two couches instead of the love seat. The price was grey and my knees decided to get to couches. The delivery was on time and they put the legs on the couch. She also got a five year scotch guard cleaning. Which she can call every month to get her furniture clean which is wonderful because you know how three little boys are. The real jesus placed it so don't mind the rug lol. My great-nephew jumped up and down with their bottoms. Just make sure the the couch can hold up. My husband was looking for us but we have furniture. He really love a leather sectional And it was very nice but we did not need it. The manager even tried to give us a package deal, but we didn't come here for us. Ashley's was having a great cell.It was twenty five percent off the whole store. Then if you tried the mattress you got a couple more dollars off. The sale was off that sunday. I explained to my husband that we can come back later to shop for us. I just wish the store was closer to where we live at is. Truly a height to go back. But let me just tell The staff at this location is awesome.Wanted a young man.Even talk to my great nephew to keep them occupied while my niece was looking around. My niece was so happy to find the couch is she couldn't wait to receive them. And We purchased them on Sunday and they was delivered that Thursday on time and everything. The window was from 9am to 1pm. I just love Ashley furniture. My house is mainly decorated with ashley furniture. There was a lamp that we was interested in but the land was not working and I really wanted it but it was broke. That's the only thing that I would approach is for us. Because we need a lamp in our living room And it was absolutely beautiful.I shouldn't took a picture of it or just ordered it while we was there. Even if I see something at another location I can call hopefully this location to order it over the phone. Thanks Abigail and the staff at Ashley furniture. You'll did a great job keep it up. Happy customers.

I have been to this big lots location several times and it's always been a pleasant experience…read moreuntil now. Me and my husband came here on Monday 26th Dec as we were looking to purchase a new mattress and box spring. We walked into the store, over to the furniture section and sat on several of the mattresses that were on display as we wanted to see which ones we liked most. My husband went to sit on one of the mattresses and the one whole side of the bed collapsed, he fell into the floor and hurt his left shoulder. Two members of staff looked over at him and saw that he fell but didn't proceed to ask if he was okay. We continued to look at the mattresses and then after a few minutes found one that we wanted to purchase. We could not locate anybody in furniture so we walked up to the front of the store and the cashier (the only nice employee that day) said she would page somebody from furniture and just to wait at the furniture kiosk. As we walked back over there the two employees that saw my husband fall received a page for assistance in furniture. The one employee looked directly at us and said "you guys are gonna have to wait ten minutes because I have to do this" (he was putting together a sign for some kind of promotion). I said okay that's fine, and we walked towards the kiosk... although I'm thinking whatever happened to customer service and customers come first... not after you hang up a sign.. Anyway, the other employee walked over to the kiosk and very abruptly said to us "what do you need" I told her we were purchasing a mattress and box spring and she said "ok do you have the SKU". My husband had taken a picture of the one we wanted so we read the number to her and she said "that's just the box spring". I said "oh well that's the SKU it references for the mattress and box spring set so im not sure" she cut me off and said "which one is it, point to which one" so we shown her. Every time she said anything she was very short and very abrupt. She then asked the size and if we would like to take the mattress and box spring today... we said yes if possible. She then proceeded to say: "Well you guys shouldn't be coming here at 8 o clock at night if you want to do this". I was at a complete loss of how to respond. Firstly, the store says it closed at 10pm that day so me coming at 8pm shouldn't have been an issue. Additionally, my husband works til 7pm six days a week, and we have a five month old baby to take care of... not that I should have to explain that to an employee but okay. She then walked off to the back without saying I'll be right back or giving any information... so me and my husband were just standing there at a loss of what to expect. After ten minutes she comes back and asks the other employee for some assistance. They then went into the back and five minutes later he came out and he said we were going to have to wait again as there was a customer in front us. We said okay and we didn't have trouble or an issue with waiting. After 20 more minutes he came out with the mattress on the cart and my husband pulled the vehicle and trailer up. He wheeled it out and then we said "have a good night" and he didn't say anything back. The customer service we received here is appalling, also my husband now has a shoulder injury. I called the corporate office to inform them of my experience and they said they would reach back out within 48 hours. We are now almost 36 hours in and I haven't received a response. If I do not by tomorrow I will be addressing this issue with a higher level of management.

Yelpers, this review is about eight months in the making. Wife and I wanted to purchase some better…read morequality outdoor furniture for our patio, we ended up at Fortunoff Backyard Store in October. The store is pretty large with a lot of displays of chairs, recliners, tables, fire pits, and all things outdoors. There was also Christmas displays of faux trees and lights. The store when we were there did not have any other customers (not really a store that people would come to regularly) but slowly some others came in. The three employees rotate as to who gets what customer as they came in for a possible sale. Ours was friendly and helpful as we took our time sitting in all of the available chairs in the whole store multiple times. After we made our choice (which, of course, had to be the first set we tried) she did her best to get us into the computer system so that we could obtain financing. This is where my shopping experience turned into a comedy of errors. It had to do with not having a password and no one else had it and the manager was on vacation. It was clear that there really was no plan as to what to do and the three employees bickering at each other as to what to do. Someone finally called the manager, but then I was told I had to just try to sign up myself using my cell phone. Thankfully I was successful and they eventually got into their own systems to put in my information. After everything was done and a "final" price completed, we ended up getting a call once we were home about having to alter the prices due to an error. I was also upset about having to pay over $500 for delivery. It eventually got resolved, and we were warned that it could be more than six months to receive our patio À La Carte set. And it was. This was due to the global stoppage of goods and waiting for it to be our turn. It actually took three different delivery dates to finally get everything. We can't wait for some really nice warm weather to truly enjoy the outdoor furniture. Overall, Fortunoff Backyard Store met our needs. It's not cheap furniture, but we expect it to last. Each time we spoke with staff on the phone or in person were professional. The store is at least worth a visit if you're in need of patio furniture. It worked out well for my family. Three and a half stars, but I'm rounding up this time.
