I picked up the headboard and footboard got it home and unpacked it when I noticed it was cracked and the post was misaligned (see photos). Badcock offered me $100 for the brand new headboard that I had just paid $900 for. The store manager was rude and unhelpful. Called the other store and asked to speak with the GM but no return call. He was a first class Arogrant Prick who seemed to think he was too good to assist us. We were there to purchase our son a Real Tree Couch, Love Seat and Recliner... And for us, a TV Stand and Bed Room Suit. We had been in your store in Enterprise, AL and were treated exceptionally by your staff there... When I asked your Dothan Store employee (rather heavy set 50ish, gray haired gentleman) if they offered a Military Discount , he said "no we do not!" I then told him that the store in Enterprise had offered us a 10% Military Appreciation Discount... He responded with a smart ass grin, "Well, you are not in Enterprise Boss man!" I told him that that kind of treatment did not encourage me to buy anything at his store. He just walked off and left us standing there and refused to wait on us. We then went to the back counter to talk to a young lady that was willing to help us. As we were talking, the rude, arrogant condescending employee came up and interrupted my wife, me and the female employee saying, "I got them!" I told him that he had walked off and was too much of a smart ellick for us to deal with him further and that I would prefer that we dealt with the female employee who was being very helpful to us. He then said, "well, she is not going to wait on you...!" My wife and I then left the store... We had found the Living Room suit that my son wanted and other items that were perfect for our house and we had $5K in the Car and we're making our last minute Christmas shopping today. But, we had no intention of spending a dime with this jerk! He was one of the rudest salesman that I have ever dealt with. My wife was APALLED! I was livid! Interesting little furniture store. We found this place on Yelp and decided to check them out…read morewhile doing some shopping in the area. The store itself is out of the way and we had to snake through a residential area to get to it. They have a wide variety in terms of selection but while browsing, my husband and I found nothing that suited our taste buds. This isn't to say that this is a bad place to shop. For the prices that they were charging, I was expecting items a little less dated. Coming from LA, we have large strips of furniture places so the selection is plentiful. While I did see a couple of "okay" items, there was nothing here that I would actually purchase or place in my home. Desk staff was very nice and didn't harrass us.
