We bought a mattress and adjustable frame. We were told twice it would be the foot and head one. But when it was delivered it was only the head. Called salesgirl . She denied telling us that. Cory and his assistant at the Mattress Superstore are amazing! The man knows the business, he knows the ins and outs of mattresses in the right questions to ask. We tried multiple mattresses to find a comfort. They do financing there, his assistant was very good at finding us the best way to get a mattress. My wife and I ended up going with a adjustable base and hybrid mattress. Cory was very thorough and very kind. My wife went into talk to him the day before and mentioned that I needed something for my back, being that I was a first responder. The next day we went in, and he gave us a discount for doing what I do. I did not expect that whatsoever. I wasn't even going to ask. Labor day 2021 (09/06/2021) I decided to look for a new mattress. I walked into Mattress Superstore and worked with Tim. My girlfriend and I tried a mattress near the door, the dreamcloud, that we liked. We decided to try the other brands in the store just to be sure that the dreamcloud was what we liked. At 10:45 AM we walked out receipt in hand for a brand new Dreamcloud Premier Rest. The mattress was quoted at 1399, and since I did not need the box spring would be reduced $150. Additionally, Tim said they pay the sales tax and free delivery. Everything was sounding great, and was effectively "too good to be true". At 4:06 PM the same day (09/06/21) I receive a call from Tim. First the conversation is that he "gave me the price of the wrong mattress" but was going to honor the price he gave me for the "better" one he "should" have charged me for. After I just accept that, he throws out that his "manager" told him the mattress I tried was an "error" (his word not mine) and had a more firm top than a new one would, so he was going to have them deliver me the floor model instead of a brand new (from the box) mattresss. I declined immediately, and repeatedely. Tim said that was fine and that I would be delivered a brand new mattress on Wednesday (2 days after purchase), which I was. The deliever driver upon setting up the mattress even noted that it was not really normal, and that after 24 hours I should call the store if there was an issue. This was at 1pm Wednesday 9/8/21. Thursday 9/9/21 I called the store and talked with Tim over the phone (2:51PM). I explained the mattress was defective and asked how we could proceed. Tim attempted to ram a 1 time store exchange on me under their "100 night guarantee", however that is not what I was looking for. After a protracted back and forth with Tim explaining the store return/exchange policy and me explaining to Tim that in Washington state if a product is defective they MUST give me a full refund, to which he replied that if they had to send someone out, "to determine if it was defective" I would have to pay $49. I insisted I would not pay the fee, after back and forth I told them to send someone out and determine its defective and take it away for my refund. The whole tone changed and time requested I send him pictures of the defective mattress via email, to which I agreed. I asked that when he received the pictures via email he send me a confirmation, which he agreed to do, then promptly did not. An hour later at 3:59 PM I called the store again. Tim answered and after identifying myself said he had "just gotten off the phone with the warehouse" and that my mattress was definitely defective. He is going to talk to his manager (or whatever he called him) and find out when they can come pick up this mattress and give me a refund. At 4:55PM he called back and said his manager (or whatever he called him) said if I wanted the floor model I could have it for $500 off. Which I really did like the bed and wanted it, so I agreed. So he proceesed a $500 credit and said the soonest they could deliver this time is Sunday from 1 to 4 PM. Way longer than it should be and thank goodness I did not let them take my old mattress or I would have been stuck on the floor! Today they delivered the new mattress (floor model) and I do love it. The delivery drivers have a really tacky way of asking for tips, they put a $10 bill at the top of the clipboard to sign for the mattress, like "oh someone else tipped I should too", I thought it might have just been the first time, but it must be a company secret as it happened both deliveries. I really do not know if I got scammed, but between the "accidents", trying to push the floor model on me, and the horrible communication it certainly feels like I did. Now I have a nice mattress, for $700, with no warranty.... I hope it works out in the long run. Either way I definitely wont be back to Mattress Superstore. read more

Fantastic customer service!!! We did online research and thought we were making an informed decision by purchasing a new mattress by calling Mattress Superstore and placing our order by phone and with a CC. They delivered our new mattress the following day! They explained about the trial period and exchange policy. Unfortunately, we had chosen the wrong mattress for us; for the next time, we decided to go to the store and actually try/test different mattresses. Matt listened to what we were looking for and pointed us to the different mattresses that offered the support and comfort that we may be looking for. He also encouraged us to lay down, roll over and really put it to the test. Price was important but support and comfort were the biggest factor. There was no hassle processing the exchange. We had our new mattress delivered/exchanged the following day!! Now, we sleep like babies... read more

My last mattress store of four. Walked in, told the lady my issues. Off we went. No pressure, trying everything she suggested. Found my mattress. Feel as you've know them for years. Comfortable store. Up front with your questions I am happy. Mattress delivered. Went with there recommendation. I must say. Nice. I slept good. And I got up will less back pain. Whole different mattress than what I had. Very happy with all. Highly recommend this store. Good people. They listen to you. I've had my mattress for two weeks. Had a too soft plush. I would have given them 6 stars but there was no option for it! My wife and I had been shopping for mattresses for a few days when we decided to have lunch in Longview at the Hop n' Grape (great place). During the course of our conversation, a waitress overheard us and we started to chat - turned out that she had just purchased a mattress from the Mattress Superstore. She touted their great customer service, prices, and let us know they were locally owned. This morning, my wife and I decided to stop by and check them out; we are so glad we did. The sales person was a great laid back guy who, unlike other store's sales people, was able to handle multiple customers effortlessly. We moved through the store, trying out different beds, and actually found one we liked a lot. Instead of making some convoluted sales pitch, he simply answered our questions. That's right - just talked to us and answered our questions - how refreshing. Next, the owner came in - just when you thought the salesperson was zero drama laid back... The owner chit chatted a bit and I told him how a waitress had referred us. He was so humble and genuinely excited about the referral; he told us about the history of his business and how hard they work at making sure their customers are satisfied. When the salesperson came over during the conversation, the owner high-five'd him! They were both so prideful. As if the experience couldn't get better, they worked out deal after discount after trade in after sale until I almost felt like it was a game to see how inexpensive they could make our purchase. Mattress Superstore is the best furniture store we have here. They furnished the Elder Housing building for the Cowlitz tribal Housing in Toledo. Besides beds, there are catalogs a plenty, any furniture you could possibly be looking for. My understanding that Local is important at Mattress Superstore. I look forward to hearing exactly where the beds come from, as well as the parts to manufacture the beds. It would be nice if we could hear what kind of businesses someone here could benefit from being in. The Local movement is growing all the time. In my opinion it should matter hugely to all of us here in Cowlitz County. This is a beautiful. low pressure store. I just scored 18 months same as cash, on a wonderful pillowtop set. I needed 2 twin mattresses and after some extensive research landed on Mattress Superstore, in Vancouver WA. When I called and spoke to Jesse he said that he didn't have two in stock and would need to order them from the main warehouse. He offered an availability by noon the next day. The next day being a Friday, rush hour traffic would be a nightmare. I cajoled a buddy living in that area to pick 'em up for me. I called and asked Jesse about this. Not only was happy to take my payment over the phone, but he also allowed me to scan my OR ID for tax exemption over to him. I just moved to the area and needed a number of new beds for my home. I had the pleasure of being served by Cory, the owner. He listened to my needs and helped me select a good queen mattress, box spring, and headboard. Impulsively I also ordered a new King platform / headboard. I ultimately decided I wanted two twin beds rather than the king and he gladly allowed me to return the king for a full credit. He also gave me a good discount on all of my purchases. In addition to the great pricing and excellent products, it was quite nice to do business with him and his team. Worst experience! I am still regretting it. A while back I was calling around town checking prices on tempra pedics, I tend to try to shop local so this store was one of the first I called. The manger told me he would give me $500 store credit just for walking in the door to get my business. Sounded like a deal. I purchased a memory foam mattress not tempra pedic and felt really good about it. They told me there was a "satisfaction guarantee which didn't include money back but no worries you can change your mattress so you will be satisfied, we just want you to LOVE your mattress" . They treated me well and acted like I was family. A few weeks later I went back in they gave me the run around and had no idea who I was. We wanted to switch to a tempra pedic which I was then told we would not get the $500 off anymore and would need to pay another $1500 on top of our $1800 we had already paid. Which because there was no money back guarantee we where stuck with what we had or had to cough up the money. Ouch... Well we told our selves it will last forever and we want to try a temper pedic if we hated it we can switch back. (Wrong by the way you can't switch back, they won't even give you the difference if you switch from a more expensive to a less expensive mattress even if it was the one you already had! Fine print of no money back guarantee) The new mattress was a rock, nothing like the one in the store didn't even seem to be the same model as the on In the store, so I called and told them that the first day we received the mattress before we even slept on it (once again not even the manager, who I had worked with now twice for over 45 min each time knew who I was or had any clue about my order ) but in the end the manager assure me it would soften just give it a try. Needless to say it didn't and after much back and forth we ended up with a poor floor model of a softer version that is just as bad. They would not help us any further unless we where willing to pay a whole lot more for a floor model of the same priced mattresses. Wow so much for we want you to love your mattress! And no worries you can alway change your mind or switch if your unhappy! And thanks for lying about the $500 off! By the way we always called with in 30 days of wanting to switch. It wasn't like we wait months and months to call them about concerns. read more

Who would have thought that going into a mattress store on a Friday night on our way to dinner would be the highlight of the night???
