SHE WAS IMPRESSED the moment she laid her eyes on these. I also have to commend the service. We had Sergio help us, he was funny, kind, and extremely polite. Everything you need from an employee. On top of that, he was very helpful with information in general. Not just about this place. I can't think of a more satisfying stop along a highway. Beautiful flowers, large range of options, and workers that know how to do their job. My Mom will be back, not sure about myself because I'm not into flowers. I also don't have a wife yet.

This last Friday we decided to go back to get two more bleeding hearts and two azaleas. Our issue is with the azaleas. The bigger azalea had the price tag. And I didn't realize that the smaller one didn't have one. The person that rang us up said they were in the same size pot, and scanned the one tag twice instead of going to check the price. We couldn't tell at the time, but after planting them today, you can clearly see by the pictures that one pot is definitely smaller. After talking about it, and remembering what plants we looked at that did have price tags, we think we were over charged by about $20.00. The price should have been either $16.99 or $19.99. We really love Tsugawa's plant quality, and will continue to buy our plants there. We just wanted to let folks know, make sure the plant you're going to buy has a price tag.

I purchased some Jowey Winnie and Sylvia tubers this spring and I was so happy when the blooms came…read morein. The Sylvia had dozens of blooms with variations of orange sherbet growing as tall as me. Super prolific with tall single stems, perfect for vases. The Jowey Winnies were my favorite grown this year. The blooms were purple to pink to yellow from the edge of the petal to the center. These produced blooms that changed color shades as the season changed. Pastels in early summer to candy colors through October. The amount of tubers I got from these will let me plant a full perimeter of dahlias next year. I can't wait. Other plants I have gotten there are vine maples and flowering currants. Keep in mind they are a wholesale nursery so that although they are fine with selling retail, the place is not set up like a store, so you should know what you want before going there, and if it's off season, call them first. Check their plant list and if there's something you want to get, call them and see whether they have some. Their plants are excellent and even at retail their prices are excellent also.

We had taken out a number of trees in our yard and wanted a large tree that can be a focus for the…read morefront of the house. It was wonderful to be able to call Big Trees and set a time to see their trees. Daniel took us around and also helped us as we considered several types of trees. We determined that a Somerset Red Maple would be large enough and that it would be relatively easy on yard maintenance. The tour helped us decide that we really needed a tall (30' feet) to enjoy in the next few years. Big Trees was excellent at setting up a date and delivering the tree. It was amazing just to watch the equipment as they dug the hole and planted the tree (see pictures). Now we just need to follow their directions. Felix and the staff planting the tree were easy to work with. They helpled take down and reinstall part of our fence and they cleaned upt he site very well.

It's the first part of May. I ordered 2, 16qt bags of Miracle Gro potting soil to be same day…read moredelivered (reward used). I got the product okay, but it was SOAKING WET. SO wet the you could squish the water out of it! It comes out of the bag in huge clumps of wet soil that is impossible to plant anything in. Why in the world would Tractor Supply deliver potting soil that is stored out in the rain so long that it is like mud when you open the bag? Now it sits in the sun drying so I can HOPEFULLY get it to crumble so it doesn't destroy the tender roots of new spring plants. DO BETTER TSC. Soaking wet potting soil is NOT what customers want to use.
