I got a washer and dryer needing a dryer not a washer but wanting a matching set. The dryer itself didn't dry all the clothes from the washer unless I put half the clothes in the dryer from the washer. I dealt with that and decided okay that's fine it's not a big deal and then a week or two goes by and the knob, which turned horribly in the first place and dried 4 loads of laundry total with, broke. The owner Mike told me the part to fix it would be more than buying one of his other dryers for $275 that he could sell me right then. I had this dryer maybe a well or two. He blamed us for turning the knob "too hard", which how do you do that, and that there was nothing wrong with it. Then as I was talking to him I said I'm going to buy a new one and am not doing business with him and mid sentence he hung up the phone on me. My husband went in to get our broken dryer because I'd rather throw the thing in the dump than let him keep it. He said if you don't mind cosmetic problems I'll fix it so he "fixed it" but when we got it home guess what the problem wasn't fixed and the dryer is still broken. I went and bought a brand new dryer and what do you know it drys all the clothes from the washer machine. I will never do business with this place again!

Each time, it takes at least two weeks for the repair company to come out, four to six weeks to receive the part, then another two weeks to come install the new part that still doesn't solve the problem. We have called the store on several occasions to make them aware of the problems. Lynn proved to be ineffective and rude. Today I visited the store to talk to Mike, the owner. I asked for some resolution to our problem. I didn't expect a refund, just thought maybe he could help us with a replacement until we have a working oven. He called me "a nut job" and threaten to call the police if I didn't leave the store. Yes, I was angry. I explained that he would be angry in my situation too. He walked in his office and shut the door. I left his store and I will never step foot in there again. I advise you do the same.

When the Thermador certified repair tech came to install the board, he informed me that a pin was missing on the board making the board unusable. Upon further inspection, the tech pointed out that the pin was not missing, but was actually protruding through the wrong side of the board. Although the ebay 30 day guarantee period had expired, I reached out to A-Tech asking for either a replacement board or a credit. After several emails, A-Tech finally responded that since the 30 day ebay return period had expired, they were not "obligated" to refund my money. I acknowledged this point, but pointed out that in my business, I oftentimes do things for my clients because it is the right thing to do, even though I might not be obligated to. A-Tech responded that I should "take a lesson" from this experience. Lesson taken for sure. So the bottom line is that if this company won't stand behind a product that they sold for $150, how likely are they to stand behind one sold for $500? One final point, this rating carries one star only because that is the minimum rating allowed by yelp. Given the choice, I would give them zero stars.

The best part is that Stan's price was in line with other places. Brian from Felton's is the only one who even put his hands on my machine, immediately replaced the broken wire, ran a diagnostic and determined our furnace could be repaired. Was back out within days to complete the repair and install a new digital thermostat for a fraction of the price of a new furnace.
