The price was reasonable and the option for old mattress removal was well worth it. Our family has use The Original Mattress Factory for over 40 years (never had a complaint). I don't think I would even bother checking anywhere else.

We had braced ourselves for a long day possibly full of disagreements and detailed discussions about things like firmness, brand, financing, delivery, etc. OMF was the first and only place we went -- and we walked out the door happy within about 15 minutes, total, our new mattress delivered and set up and ready to be slept on in less than a week. Ryan, the store manager, was a delight to work with, giving us all the info we needed but never upselling us or pressuring us. He answered all of our questions, anticipated some that we didn't think to ask, and left us to make our own decision without a watchful sales eye (I hate when places keep an eagle eye on you while you try to figure things out!) I loved that they don't have a TON of mattresses to choose from -- just a few, locally made, on a firmness scale so that you can easily determine which ones you think you want to try and which ones not to bother with. We went with the second firmest option, with the springs, and a frame without a headboard (though Ryan let us know that they can pretty easily be attached later, if we want to buy one from OMF or elsewhere). Our mattress and bed were delivered the next weekend. Communication was easy and helpful, and the guys who made the delivery were speedy and skilled, navigating our narrow staircase without a single ding or dent in the walls. Our new bed is SO COMFORTABLE, & we absolutely adore it. Can't recommend OMF highly enough!

That was Friday - she said Monday for sure. Monday I waited all day - the driver called at 5pm - truck broke down - but I would be first on Tuesday. I called the driver at 6pm on Tuesday - he had no helper to deliver my fridge. I insisted he come NOW and I would call my neighbor to help. No wonder they're out of biz.

I entered from the Northwest entrance and asked for help with finding the formal dresses. A female employee kindly directed me to the formal dresses which happened to be in the same area where I was already located (1st floor right at the Northwest entrance door). I walked a few second down from where I was and I immediately found 2 great dresses. I tried them on in the changing room and then choose a beautiful and long blue dress. I used a gift card to purchase the dress and the price was under $80 because the dress was on sale. So, I got a good deal. With the remaining balance on my gift card, I bought blush (face makeup) which is something I wanted but I didn't have at home. The one I bought is actually also an eye shadow and eye liner as well. The brand is Lancôme Paris. The 2 ladies over at the Lancôme makeup counter were very helpful. They helped me try on the blush first to see how it would look on my face (they mixed in the blush with a foundation to see how it would look). I'll certainly be back if I need a new dress. Paula approached us and showed us where the bedroom and dining sets were. Paula was extremely helpful and she wasn't pushy like I have seen in other sales people. She showed us where the things were that we wanted to see, then she left us alone. She told us where we could find her if we needed her or had any questions. We ended up finding both a bedroom and dining set that we absolutely loved. The bedroom set won't be in stock until May so we have to wait a couple months to get it, but it will be worth it. Less than two months ago, I purchased what I believed was a quality mattress from Levin Furniture in Avon Lake. This was not an impulse purchase--it took me months of hard work to afford something I thought would provide comfort and support for my family. Instead, in under eight weeks, the mattress has developed a 1¼-inch divot where I sleep. Every single night, I am essentially laying in a hole. I wake up sore, achy, and exhausted. My back pain has gotten to the point where I've had to schedule physical therapy just to deal with the discomfort this mattress is causing. No one should be in pain from something they just purchased--especially something as essential as a bed. What has been even more upsetting is the complete lack of accountability. I've spoken with Teresa in the service department, who simply repeats that the Sealy warranty requires a 1 1/2-inch indentation before anything can be done. Until then, I've been told there is "nothing they can do." At the store level, both Ken and John, the managers, have also told me there's nothing they can do and that everything goes through the service department. So where does that leave me? I'm stuck in the middle--sleeping on a defective mattress, in pain every night, while being passed from one person to another with no one willing to take responsibility. The focus isn't on the fact that the product failed in less than two months--it's on whether it meets a technical measurement so it doesn't cost anyone anything. That's not customer care. That's avoidance. So on Saturday, May 16, I will be taking a stand--literally. Along with my three children, their friends, and neighbors, we will be peacefully protesting with the very mattress that has failed us. We are asking for accountability, awareness, and fair treatment for consumers who work hard for what they have. I believe this is a story many families can relate to. I had also thought that I had to make my final Mattress selection within the 120 days of initial purchase. The salesman, Ken, informed me that I had plenty of time and that the 120 day trial would reset with the exchange. Wow! He then suggested different mattresses to try. I opted for a firmer Mattress and Ken was aware that the mattress I selected had an overstock and I was offered a $550 discount. I've been extremely happy with the customer service of the salesmen that we've worked with and hopefully this mattress will work out--but if not I have one more chance to exchange.
