Previously we purchased a very nice Cat Napper motorized recliner from them and love it. It has been a few years and we wanted to purchase another one. Don reviewed my previous purchase and said he would order another for us. That it would arrive in September of 2021. He would charge my credit card for half of the purchase price. The first week of September I phoned and spoke with two sales people. First call I was talking with the 4 story building sales. She directed me to the two story store. I phoned the two story store and spoke with a nice gal. She asked if I could provide the name of the sales person I spoke with and the date. I had that on my cork board and when I arrived home I phoned her back and shared the information. I called back and shared the date and the name of Don, she could not find anything in their records. I was not charged for half of the price on the order date of 4/10/21. She said she would have Don call me the next day. I waited two weeks then went online and ordered the Cat Napper Recliner and a Cat Napper Sofa. It is rather confusing that this was not taken care of. One would think that they want to do business, but apparently not.

When he found out we wanted to get the mattress that same day, we went out to the warehouse to see what was actually in stock. He didn't push for us to buy any certain bed just showed us the differences and cost of each. Not a huge selection, but that was totally ok! We ended up purchasing a more expensive bed than originally planned but we are very happy with our experience. Already discussing coming back to buy a bed in the future.

They of course want you to try out others. We were given nasty dirty stained pillows to lay our heads on. All of a sudden a different salesman swoops in. My husband again stated what we are looking for. The salesman says look at these mattresses instead. My husband told him we do not want that brand, we don't want foam. The salesman disregarded what my husband was asking for and again really pushed for that mattress. That's when we walked out. We went somewhere else that was non pushy, listened to us and provided clean pillows with pillow covers imagine that. We ended up buying a $8k mattress and adjustable frame which was not on my husband's list so it wasn't impossible to do.

Better yet, our son found a firm, pillow top mattress he liked within 10 minutes. It would be considered near the top of the line but the price was within the range we had planned to pay. There's no pressure to buy here and they don't try to upsell you. In fact, the sales guy showed us the lowest priced mattresses first, all of which I knew wouldn't meet the needs of our son. The only negative for this chain is that they don't deliver your mattress and so they don't pick up your old one. But on the other hand, that's how they keep costs down. My wife and I will be buying a new mattress for ourselves within the next couple of weeks, and we're heading right back here.

Very Disappointed! Paid extra for new boxsprings to be set up and take away our old boxsprings. Great, easy peasy, so I thought. Delivery comes and delivery guys say the boxsprings don't fit after they have pulled our bed apart, they're too big. Jensen- you ordered the wrong size when you had the previous size mattress right in front of you on your tablet. Wait there's more, It gets even better! I come home and my husband says the front door was left wide open by these delivery guys when they left, he was upstairs when they left and he wasn't happy when he went downstairs and found our front door wide open. Who leaves a customers front door wide open when they leave-Mattress Firm delivery guys do! Then I go upstairs to our bedroom and I can't believe they didn't put our bed back together, mattress is on its side, old boxsprings are standing against the wall, they left our bed torn apart, a complete mess. If my husband and son weren't home this night I would have never been able to put the bed back together by myself. We decided to cancel the entire order and will buy new box springs somewhere else. The way our bedroom was left did it for me, not what I expected when I got home from a long day. Complete waste of time! Tanner was great on the phone and refunded the entire amount! Thank you Tanner. Sorry it didn't work out too, was such an easy sale. I really hope Mattress Firm trains these 2 delivery guys in customer service on what not to do and do in a customers home! Then there's Jensen, if only he had ordered the correct size I wouldn't be writing about this terrible experience!
